The story of deku came to a conclusion arguably last chapter where we saw someone that could be next shigaraki get help from an old lady deku through his perseverance changed the society he lives in. Heroes have free time and every one is doing something to better their world not alone but as a group. I really don't think McDonald's is something bad tho(and certainly very very popular too). The original McDonald's was something groundbreaking revolutionary. However I'm also aware that this manhwa isn't a once in a lifetime masterpiece of fiction and for that reason I don't try to sit and analyse every aspect of the story and we are talking about a complaint about story here not art the artist is a different guy. What I was trying to communicate is do not let a decision from the author that you do not like to ruin your fun that you were having. Keep in mind that the story in the author head is beyond the current chapter meaning that he indeed had a reason in his mind. Is it a good reason or not idk.

I get your frustration i really do. Also no hate towards you or your opinion. But I feel like you are looking for fine wagyu steak in a McDonald's. This a form of battle shonen. Written by a single (as far as I know) human being. The logic is never as sound as you might think. It is fictional world with fictional characters fighting other fictional characters. You need to understand that the author is going to imagine and create what he wants and likes. It's not even chapter 20 or smth. Author explores and shows what he thinks is important to show. And that author's opinion may not match with yours. So please don't be frustrated. Also there is the issue of the weekly struggle. We wait for a week and get something unsatisfactory but ultimately necessary thing to move the plot forward. Author needed to show "hey this breeder guy is OP also the first chair guy is OP but like breeder is more OP" could he have used a better way? Absolutely. But the author's never know when the ax is coming so they rush sometimes. But the bare bones info we got is important and necessary so yea. I would like to reiterate no hate to you or this manhwa just felt like sharing my thoughts about what you said(sorry for the lack of proper punctuation)

After all of this mess you still gotta wonder what is the message. Yea Horikoshi sensei is showing the world in gray but we jump from the subjective picture to the big picture each chapter, last one we saw the tragedy of a family caused by the tyrany of the father's ambition and this chapter we are supposed to sympathize with the main antagonist cause he had friends. I start to feel like his writing is missing a critical piece that could tie this all together and make it more coherent or I'm just straight up forgetting important shit. I think I don't care for the characters at play enough to enjoy this climax to the fullest. I was very excited up until the recent development and what not. But imma let author san cook

I am genuinely not a fan of this development for the character of the father. I really think trying to humanise the serial murderer doesn't add anything necessary to the story but actively hurts it. Shades of grey exist. However if in the end everything is just grey it doesn't print a pretty picture does it? I really hope that this is yet another manipulation tactic from a psychopath and not a real character developer. But hey let's wait and see.
