i cant help but feel like MC is going to break the system/gaia but in its last act reveal what MC really is
but if that did happen, its already too late since the only one who is 'destined' to be able to beat MC, sword kid, already has that mind control parasite inside of him lmao
i also feel like if it did get to that point, they would probably realize MC does just want to chill and snack since they already know he was the demon king, he just fudged the why he isnt anymore

it is kinda funny how they all brushed it under the rug that he is a necromancer lmao

that sounds incredibly stupid since there wouldnt be any nations then, just noble territories and temporary alliances
it also sounds incredibly short sighted since any nation that did value loyalty would just use the traitors to get a 'foot in the door' during a war and then execute them afterwards for the risk of them betraying the new nation in the future

but i think its really stupid that they are trying to take the territory when the nation is going though a civil war at the moment, unless its a different nation and i forgot
but then again if it is the same nation, then they could justify it by saying something like 'securing resources' or some shit

MC got summoned to fantasy world (his grandpa is also from this world and trained him in many things like how to fight, how to lead, how to plan and build, how to spot when someone is trying to screw him over, ect since MC had a lot of similar physical traits to grandpa he believed he would get summoned eventually)
MC got away from the people that summoned him before they could enslave him like 99% of all people who get summoned, he then became a mercinary and gained a lot of rep really quickly thanks to his grandpas training and joined as a merc during the civil war (in the nation this chapter is set in, forgot its name tho so it will be A)
After the civil war he was rewarded but many nobles didnt trust him, since he has no blood relatives they could use as leverage meant he could turn on them with nothing to stop him
Then a war broke out with a neighboring country (forgot that ones name so B) and he had some big plays like flooding the enemy army and winning them the war
MC just wanted some basic rewards and had 0 plans to turn against A because the princess treated him as a person and respected him, but the nobles convinced her that he would eventually seek the throne and kill her, so she gave him a 'reward' that was the worst territory on the continent that no one wants because of its many many problems from wilderness to hostile races
MC realized this was a trap to basically have him stuck in a 'dead end position' where he would be alone for the rest of his life, but it backfired (they dont know it yet) since he managed to tame part of the wilderness and broker peace with the dark elves and is building the groundwork for an independent nation
A was rebuilding but the nobles didnt want to go without their luxuries while the nation rebuilds so are stealing what little the commoners had left after the 2 wars, but the commoners refused and caused a 2nd civil war

oh also, his sister grandpa and 2 cops also got summoned to this world in the holy nation with plans for the girl to be a new 'toy' for the pope or a high priest but grandpa sacrificed himself for the other 3 to get away, unknown if grandpa is alive or not but sister has really high talent with the sword (i think) and is learning that from some one in the woods somewhere, dont remember if the 2 cops are with her or if they decided to split up to gather info and resources but MC doesnt know of any of that (yet)

i know it happens in real life, and its a useful trope in stories for side characters joining MC
but i will never understand treating your soldiers like shit, i can see not going as far as roman does, but if soldiers know that they will be tossed away the moment they are seen as useless and someone else proves 'if you join us i will treat you well' how can you not expect them to defect?
but good note, if i ever become an evil emperor i gotta have good benefits

i could be wrong but i think she is trying to expose MC as the ruler of the world, maybe hoping that by doing so he will loose his power but all she is doing suicide since basically every awakener is loyal to him and the root of all power is violence, and he alone could destroy several nations, so trying to expose his economic and political power is just asking to die

either that or its something that means an impending disaster, like they only follow/flee from much stronger monsters or 'lead the charge' of a monster wave
