villains in this story are great because (from what i remember) their powers basically alter their subconscious to act on emotions and be as showy as possible, giving a great excuse for them to over explain everything and do seemingly useless stuff like killing a bunch of random people

nah, he only followed them because of the fire sword, probably assuming they would do something like try to assassinate a high profile villain and leave the sword to try and pull the same stunt

killed a red dragon (i think?) and now it turns out the priest girl actually got a bit of power from that dragon and natch killed it when she was on an assassination job that was just political power plays by the prince
natch also kicked her friend that she made shortly after arriving to the curb because her RPness is bleeding though to actually influence her and her friend wanted to believe her dead dad was alive, something that went against natch's character backstory
