Blood sect is the one that won in the Murim worlds 'original' timeline before MC got control of that body and the original owner was able to use his soul to roll time back to before the blood sect took over and gave MC his memories to try and stop them.

I'm not 100 but I think that when he was talking/thinking about the blood sect not being able to confirm who in the demon sect it was that poisoned everyone it was also implying that the demon sect was still its own thing after the blood sect took over everything

Lust would be a useful squadron for intel gathering or infiltration by seducing high ranking people and then either gathering info or using some form of mind control or replacing them. a squadron of merchants for greed would also be useful as they could move to having a monopoly on certain important markets and use that for funding.

No idea why they didn't do that instead since it would fit the 7 sins idea than whatever 'silence' and 'despair' are supposed to be

In the anime when talking with the students the teacher things that Sophia and Shiro (and i think a few others) are dead but never confirmed about Sophia and Shiro, just assumed because their names got grayed out, so I imagine Sophia ends up finding a way to block the skill and Shiro was grayed because she is no longer within the system

Nah, in this universe the elves are very evil. They believe themselves better than everyone just for existing (not too uncommon but its on the 'you should either kneel or get out of my sight before i kill you' level) and are the reason the world is dying because most know what Potimas is doing and don't see a problem. I also don't know if you watched the anime or not but in it it shows how bad the kidnapping was because of the moronic teacher

That bow could be an amazing bargaining chip. I think the #1 guy uses a bow so I imagine that he will get the item Seon needs and have the arrow and they will trade or he will get the arrow and owe Seon a major favor of some kind in exchange
