My guess is that the AI rooted out all corruption, replaced all jobs, and stopped inefficient things. This gave humans who felt the need to be superior, an equal foot with everybody. So the government attacked the AI to which it likely responded; which the government used as justification to the citizens for a full scale assault.

What other people aren't telling you about the p90 is that the civilian version blows. The fully automatic firing mode is what the whole weapon was designed around. Its structure was built to be extremely accurate at a high fire rate. It's much better than its MP5 counterpart when it comes to suppression. While still usable with single fire for a decent distance, almost no other weapon touches it in close quarters vs groups.

I only critique the proofreader for this reason. The proofer is supposed to be the one who takes the broken english and rewrites it correctly. If a translator can make it readable, they've more than done their job. The problem is that some overstep wanting extra credit and take on both when it's definitely not their first language. This results in weird sentences where words that you'd expect to come out of a monkey is said from a professor and vice versa, or phrases and idioms are off. (reminds me of starfire from teen titans). That or missing conjunctions that other languages don't use, repeating them, or just putting them in the wrong place.

Again, this is all on the proofer, not the translator.
