Stressed driving can cause people to speed (tail-gaiting), road rage (at emotional limits), or even sudden stops (instead of decreasing speed slowly, as the vehicle draws closer, anxiety causes drivers to fear crash so break faster than necessary). It can even cause clouded judgement from OVERanalyzing factors instead of prioritizing threats.

This goes without even mentioning the most debatable topic: experience. Given that someone operates intoxicated on a frequent basis, driving sober can actually cause a lapse in mind-body synergy in a severe alcoholic's case.
