i wonder what the black spears law is.

Walked into a TIME realm, fought beasts where the most difficult used TIME (last), then attempted to grab a relic but were forced into a TIME tunnel to be transported, encountered a guy who looked like he's been dead for hundreds of thousands of YEARS who warns of black spears, but looks like he came from mc's TIMEline having the same customs and the sword sect also speaking his language.

Goly gee, what could that law be

Ummmm... Just because he is invader saint's son doesn't mean he isn't 2ndary being. Mc is both a 2ndary and higher being at the same time

poor people be poor and eat what they can afford. Obviously being on the internet suggests i have improved economically. The point was even something that is bad will taste better than something that an individual finds appalling. It's not like i dont know of the god of food, bacon. Or what chocolate tastes like. I just hate sausage and would choose brussel sprouts or many other mutually agreeable bad tasting food over it

Easy. Npc's are characters who are "alive". They never died but failed to progress and end up signing contracts with X (the gods? Was mentioned shopkeeper was contracted to "their side"). Because of the tower, they become ageless

its different because the assassination was a person related to nobility. 2 the offender was the lord himself who agreed with the plan. There is a heavy difference between a peon declaring his lords name and giving cause than the lord weighing the risks and doing it himself. Also, there is a difference from a church investigating and a noble investigating. Unless he relinquishes his position as his lords knight he cannot take up arms in the name of the church. AGAIN, there is ALSO a difference from a peon doing wrong things, and a high noble. MC CAUSED trouble for the lord which is why he got punished. Who is going to punish the lord for messing up other than someone with a cause or the king? Nobody because he ONLY serves the king.

I don't expect the MC to be goody 2 shoes, but I expect the readers to understand that although he did the right thing MORALLY, he still fucked up LEGALLY. Therefore when punished, he wasn't treated like garbage, but treated fairly. What knight DOESN'T wipe their lords ass? Should a lord not punish his subordinate when he makes a catastrophic error? Remember that they never had cause to be there, so they shouldn't have known, and had no right to act. Thats what it means to be a knight and not mercenary. There are STRICTER RULES to follow. Especially when you represent a master

It wasn't. It was a drop of the ball at midnight on new years day a rift opened up and b-rank monsters dropped out of the sky. During the mayhem, they were "given the choice" to do a "tutorial" and select a level. Only MC knew what was going to happen after he went back in time

you read half of that god's title. It's the god of death and combat. Even if he dies, he'll probably be tied to that god.

The god could then just pick him like a ripe fruit with a forced challenge just before leaving too

Dullahan is hindsight 20/20. Even if you could inspect the son, you would have no right to inspect another territory lord of equal standing without the support of the crown. Meanwhile, this guy has already established a just cause for the start of a war that WILL weaken your own territory. They STILL don't know about the counts collusion and even accusing him without justifiable proof is enough for any minor noble (knights) to be executed for slander without proof. You overlook every factor of what's KNOWN vs TOLD

Right now this is whats available to the family:
Pig dude sold pregnant women
Children make the best sacrifices for dark magic
The slave trader went to a different territory
At the EDGE of their territory a corrupt priest was residing
At the EDGE of their territory kids were getting cursed
Other places in the territory it was also happening (hearsay)

By your logic the count he serves needs to be investigated because his territory was shipping the sacrifices. Either way the reason the church could intervene is because they serve god and don't contend for land but faith. Whereas invading another territory and exerting influence is a declaration that they rule and govern that land (also a declaration of war).

If you don't understand the politics now, then it's a lost cause

the territory lord could always lie and said he has no clue about that. This would be the equivalent of russia sending people to america and killing people because they were criminals. Its the same principle. Without proof that he didn't conspire with the heretic, there should have been a process like informing territory lords knights (even if they did nothing), or even request permission to conduct an investigation via the crown OR the territory lord before even going there.

And yes a war is a huge deal as it destroys the economy, citizen's prosperity, supplies, personnel, and funds. Yes ANY war is not welcomed in a time of turmoil when it leaves you defenseless for the next potential threat.

Considering the situation

They were invaded and given a tutorial as last chance.

Most people would want to rush back to protect families.

Sure some otakus may want to challenge themselves if they could get over the fear of dying, but most would choose easy. Gang leaders may choose harder difficulty to rule with power but would never solo. Its against nature. Logic would dictate this outcome without foresight of the amplified waves. Thats if this is even the final wave

In doing so, he opened justification for a legitimate war. So even if the king wanted to intervene and protect the north he couldn't

XD I'm dying reading this... Like "she's doing what she can"... Lmfao... In this period of time it's the wife's job to do this. Women managed internal affairs (household) while the men, or head of household managed domestic and foreign affairs (everything outside of household). God, agenda pushing libtards are really everywhere even when you shut yourself away like an otaku.
