Exactly. I think this chapter and the series so far did a good job at firmly establishing their character flaws as a starting point for Ain and Yujin to grow throughout the series.

I also think as Yujin teaches Ain and gets closer with her he will become more opposed to his Master as he has another person he cares about.

Yeah there are differences but mostly im drawing a distinction between the kinds of stories where their sex changes one time and the kinds where they keep swapping throughout the story

A problem with this manga is that with magic as versatile and powerful as being able to make anything it feels extremely inconsistent what he is capable of. Sometimes it seems like he's able to destroy a country and other times he struggles to sink a ship and fight a few soldiers

No im agreeing that It would be surprising if lilly didn't have a brother named lally who was bullied. A month long flashback arc thats a total lie would be crazy. Though i guess i could imagine a twist where lilly was the one who was bullied and there was never a caring older brother.

It makes sense for people not to like someone getting special treatment. Even if it's not exactly fair to Lally. This is one sided though
