I think it was a couple chapters ago that they explained she is this strong without reaching a state of transcendence. So when she does achieve that state she will be extremely strong

It wasn’t as climactic as it could have been, but it wrapped up the themes pretty nicely. Maybe it’s because a lot of manga have the most atrociously written endings possible, but I’m only a little disappointed that it didn’t live up to what it could have been. I was really hoping for another twist or something to add more tension to the finale. Kaguya-Sama ended triumphantly, so I was hoping Aka could pull off the same for this series

Should I read that series?

Yeah. The gods are pretty diverse, which makes it such a let down when half the fighters are from one island. It feels especially bad here since both the god and the human are Japanese. Especially since one of the fighters was already a swordsman from Japan who’s themes were about his endless dedication to the technical mastery of swordsmanship as an artform.
