I still say it's a romcom, even if we accept they dont have any romantic feelings and even if they never grow any, others have romantic feelings for them. But the central conflict of the series is defining their relationship and where it falls between friends and lovers so I think it absolutely qualifies

Exactly. I think this chapter and the series so far did a good job at firmly establishing their character flaws as a starting point for Ain and Yujin to grow throughout the series.

I also think as Yujin teaches Ain and gets closer with her he will become more opposed to his Master as he has another person he cares about.
