Two things:
1) I love this. Not to mention Kim Dokja can do the bookmark thing too!
and 2) what's the drawback? There has to be a penalty, right? The guardian lost vitality with every use, limiting him to 5 uses in total, so the fighter has to have some limitation. Is it just literal combat? "If you can't literally in-combat fight and win, then you'll just die."

So, just what is her debt exactly? 295 million?

Seo Jun-ho looted Arma and got a unique ring that gives +5 strength buff via an aura of allies and summons within 30 meters around him. Yes, this includes the wearer.

On the topic of the symbol/mark thing, maybe 5 people, in total, know about it. This includes both the first and second floor.

There was some time between the explosion and the summoning of the skeletons. I'm not making this up: he says "Arise" to summon them. His six best skeletons were fighting Princess.

Arma actually responds to Seo Jun-ho's question with "... Do you think I have?"

Princess bites her corner of her lip when she's really mad - not just "tsk." Her fire on display is enough to make the watchdog have a cold sweat, wondering if she's seeing reality or if it is CG. Yeah, Princess is that strong.

"Capture." No. "Teleport." Her success rate as a sniper is 100% for 3 years.

To address the previous comment (when sorting by new): She doesn't. In the novel, she fires the bullet and teleports it in front of Seo Jun-ho's nose. Seo Jun-ho knew where she was because he knew their plans - not because he followed any trajectory.

Five hours. The auction took five hours to reach the finale.
Princess bought 7 items, including the ice crown.
The necklace Seo Jun-ho got prevents the wearer from getting sick frequently. Keen Intuition doesn't "activate" - but he just feels a hunch of sorts. He bid and bid on it until he got it for $150,000.

The Heaven's Breath was found by one of the Big 6 Guilds, Labyrinth, in a dungeon called "Tomb of Mercy."

Fun fact: we get this line: "Even the Frost Queen's core looked like a round sapphire."

The Watchdogs attacked when the bid hit 50 million. Ha In-ho didn't take the bullet defenselessly. Yes, it was a surprise but he twisted his body and created a shield, but the bullet went through the shield and hit him anyway. This detail raises the stakes two-fold: 1) the watchdog is skilled and merciless and 2) Ha In-ho is also really skilled.

She cries after finally admitting it out loud that "... He was taken out." Seo Jun-ho was on the last page of the list; she almost gave up after looking thousands of profiles but there he was. After the designation, she "gnashed her teeth as she received the order. "If we ever meet, I'll definitely kill him.""

The guard who got Seo Jun-ho's invitation thing apologized deeply - bowing and saying "I'm sorry for wasting your time." lol
He also told the Princess "I'll buy you something good next time." Not necessarily a meal. They talked a bit more on her heat problem.

"The dealer's skill!" No, his shoulders! "It was easy. Seo Jun-ho just had to watch the dealer's shoulder muscles and count how many times the dealer's arms moved, how they moved, and which direction they moved."
Not that it matters; the important part is the "shell" vs "substance" bit.
Before the dealer gets swapped out, Seo Jun-ho is at 16 million won - all in just five minutes.

This "Bones" guy at the start of the fight: "his bones were visible in his hands as he gripped a sword in his hand." He totally dead so who cares? lol
Other than that, a bit more talking happens, nothing too important.

That's not "something bad" exactly. She's taking the fight to them which... well, it isn't exactly a good idea, I'll admit.

Mr. Main Character should be in a casual suit, not pajamas. As for the NUMBERS! Princess lost 10 million won. Seo Jun-ho starts betting with a million won and doubles it every time.

tl;dr: video game based manhwa - similar to Overgeared. In fact, "MID Overgeared" is a good way to summarize this.

I'm caught up here and I'm also reading the novel on wuxiaworld. Yes, the standard "the novel has a lot more details on everything" is very much true. The novel is complete but being translated at one chapter a day.

Thing is, the biggest change is the little girl that pops up randomly. The novel is... like an entire season ahead of this manhwa (he met up with the elves, stuff -> then a huge war happened). The little girl has not shown up in the novel. Her impact in the manhwa weakens Mr. Main Character by having some things attributed to her guidance instead; like showing up to the dungeon with the living armors and the dullahans - where in the novel, he agreed to play with his IRL friend. Same destination, but still.
Also, when he fights Aosa, he is shown clearly destroying the core in the manhwa but this does NOT happen in the novel -> and the pet, Mimic, is a reward specifically because he doesn't hit the core at all and leaves it intact.

While you can make comparisons to RotFP, I find it apt to just make comparisons to Overgeared - also a completed novel on wuxiaworld which I read completely, lol -> and frankly, the most direct thing I can say about this novel is that it is "MID Overgeared" which is quite literal as the virtual game's name here is "MID."
If you like these tropes, I do recommend it.


Still, the manhwa is fine. Feel free to read it as nothing is a particular deal breaker.

Speaking of which, what is this manhwa? Well, it is the novel written by the same author of "Return of the Frozen Player" (RotFP, which I also read both the novel on wuxiaworld (completely translated btw) and the manhwa here). This novel, "The Healing Solaris Cleric," was written first and is somewhat mentioned in RotFP. Overall, it has a lower quality than RotFP but it is still amusing.

It features Mr. Main Character, Kai, a cleric who likes being nice to NPCs. He starts off as a below-average player, stuff happens -> and he starts his climb to number 1. He experiences a complete shift in his gameplay as he goes from a support to solo-hunting and he really likes solo-hunting.

There are moments of complete nonsense where the whole "I'm Mr. Main Character" shine through pretty powerfully. The biggest one that shows up in the manhwa is extending Dying Will's immortality duration to a week - and if you read the novel, this is even more unlikely than the manhwa makes it out to be.

It's a fine read with decent art and stuff, so like 6 out of 10. (I'm not IGN)
