One more, with a bit more relevance? The Religious Organizations. Keep in mind that Religious Organizations are different from Religions. The people who lead the organizations tend to be corrupt because they were installed there by someone else - like a monarch, or government official -> to help maintain control and authority. As upsetting as it may be, there has to be a question of "just how did such a horrible group become so popular that they're a full-blown religion and have tons of people's faith?" The answer is obvious: the horrible group didn't start the religion, they invaded it. Think of how Elon Musk took over Tesla and that should paint the entire picture. Religion has a comfortable position and the Religious Organizations that formed should exist to help the people -> but due to the invasion, these organizations just want authority.
Testing if a Religion is valid isn't important. If you can, in one command, get everyone to join or quit a religion, then you have more authority than the King himself because he can't do that. So, don't waste your time.
The real test that matters is aimed at the Religious Organizations and their Leaders. World's simplest test: put a group of people in a moment of crisis to see what they'll do. Like in this chapter, instead of adapting to the situation, listening to experts (the doctor) and doing whatever they can to help -> this Religious Organization decided to refuse it all, call it blasphemy and displayed their position that they're demanding to uphold their established rules -> even if it meant that people would constantly die from illness.
And that's what we're seeing here, in a nutshell. We have all four groups in one room discussing what can be done and the person with the highest authority, the King, made the decision. This is why he is King. No one even asked the masses what they thought because this is all just to control them anyway. In fact, the only reason this meeting is happening is because if we show that we care too little, we'll lose control.
It comes down to control.
Who wants control? Big Business! Merchants LOVE to force their authority in places they got no business in -> by threatening with business. "Oh my... well, we kinda had a plan to expand the project of building roads to include your city, but the way you're acting is dissuading me from supporting it. Meanwhile, *name of nearby rival city* sure has shown great support." Something like that anyway. Fun fact: China is doing this very thing in Africa in the real the world right now - it is near the end of 2024 when I'm posting this. Any and all objections that China receives from anywhere in Africa is met with an effective threat of "YOU WANT US TO STOP BUILDING THESE ROADS? NO? THEN SHUT UP AND KISS MY FEET!" China is not their friend.
Who else? The Monarchy. We CONSTANTLY see characters - especially kids - of nobility act like "ugh, I hate it when I get treated as something special. Why can't they treat me normally for two seconds?" Because that's the law. A law your ancestors put in place and constantly use to maintain control over these people. Your objections to this is seen as a child being stupid and aren't properly taken as anything more than a puff of air that matters very little. They will treat you with respect and they will bow to your authority. The Monarchy is not your friend.
Furthermore, this applies to all other nobles. Why do they look down on "the common folk?" Same reason as the monarchy, they create and put up rules to give themselves massive favor and prevent their authority from the danger of being lost. It isn't just classism or racism for the sake of it. When a rich kid is like "lol, you common folk are so stupid. Can't even do this obvious thing you can do but won't prove me wrong because that would break the rules? el oh el this is why we nobles are so superior!" <- this is a direct result of them trying to protect what they have. The moment their rules and authority are shattered, they'll lose everything. This is also why they tend to have lots of kids so if any of them die, they were just a sacrifice that can be used to reinforce the rules. They'll cry or whatever -> but it isn't like it really matters to them.

Also, they are like... 9, so I would rather them not have any romance stuff going on whatsoever... rather than this dense circus.
Uh... yes? She's 9 dude. You're 9. You're both children.

1) Grid gets i
2) Then like 400 chapters later or something, I dunno, I didn't count, Grid

Another problem with failing at Grid's name.
This skill's name is "Greed."
Also,
Not sugarcoating it, but Grid will be over level
I mean, without the influence of propaganda.
Here in 'murca, if she's gonna give birth to twins, they'll have to pay - according to a google search -> parents.com - around $100,000, which is significantly higher compared to giving birth to a single baby.
... and people wonder why "millennials aren't having kids"
