I gave up when Mr. Main Character's mom was like "I love you, therefore I'm going to kill you" -> why? Stupid reasons. Really. Really. Really stupid reasons. It's not even "it's a good reason but killing him?" No. It's just stupid reasons. Straightforward. Plain. Really. Really. Really stupid reasons.
Before we get to that point, hey author, you can't have two opposing things come together at all times.
Mr. Main Character is so pathetic, weak and is always on the edge of dying
BUT
he's also the strongest dude around for real dude check it out no way
Also, you can't have a character who is literally "I love Mr. Main Character and will do everything to support him" and simultaneously "I'm going to kill everyone he loves" literally. Why? Stupid reasons.
Who knows? Maybe this all comes around in the end but I will say, I read for another 40 chapters after the mom was like "I love you but I'mma kill you" to figure out WHY and then I realized "wait, I just read 40 chapters. FORTY CHAPTERS for a single plot point to occur and an explanation is given."
I do not recommend this.
Nope. It's a manga and it features two dudes
1) a studious good boy who can't tell that the person antagonizing him is actually antagonizing him even if he gets punched in the face -> because all he wants to do is study.
2) a delinquent who is the strongest, no really you guys
They get Freaky Frida- wait no, this came out before the movie "Freaky Friday" so Freaky Friday is a Change Guy refer- OH WAIT JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE PART 5 FEATURES BODY SWAPPING AND IT'S OLDER THAN CHANGE GUY!
Freaky Friday: 2003
Change Guy: 1998 to 2006
Jojo part 5: 1995 to 1999
You heard it here folks: Body Swapping is a Jojo reference! lol
Anyway, jokes aside, Jojo reference happens and the story ignores one of the two characters -> and focuses entirely on the studious-now-delinquent character as he struggles with the fact that everyone wants to square up with him despite him not knowing how to fight. His body is tough but he can't fight.
There is some comedy because of reasons I already explained -> but he eventually gets good at fighting and the scope expands in some dumb ways... like really dumb ways. So dumb that I decided to just skip to the ending where it kinda ends on a "to be continued" sort of train as things don't get totally wrapped up.
Sigh. I didn't enjoy this. I'll be honest: screw every character in this manga with like one or two exceptions. Mr. Main Character is not one of the exceptions.
If you want "teenage delinquents" manga, go read Kyou Kara Ore Wa which completely predates it and is just better in every way.

Kyou Kara Ore Wa:1988 to1997
Mr. Main Character is super wimpy but then like... is nice.
It's a comedy manga that features a nothing Mr. Main Character that has one quality going for him: he's nice.
It's a comedy manga that features the author granting Mr. Main Character plot armor to always win and every girl, especially enemies, falls in love with him.
It's a- etc etc -> the girls become better people thanks to him being nice.
Think Persona social links with every female enemy that turns them into good people. Also comedy is used at all times because if any of this is realistic, then
I see comments praising this manga and like uh... I dunno. It's been years so maybe I'm remembering it in a bad light. /shrug
Lastly, I also remember enjoying reading this despite everything I've said so far. Again, it's been years since I read this so pardon me for this subpar "review."
Dr. Stone starts off with a standard-ish high school slice of life for about half a page before an apocalypse happens and the entire world gets hit by... something that turns everyone into stone. After enough time passes, Mr. Main Character wakes up randomly due to luck and with his... *checks notes* high-school level, genius teenager memory and science skills -> he proceeds to climb up the tech tree.
Drama ensues but it's all a distraction because in short, this entire manga is just a bunch of science lessons.

With all that said, there are characters, drama and a mystery about to keep you reading. It is pretty good.
And then the finale:

Sooooooooooooooooo.... yeah. Good for you. I dunno. For me, I was like "woah" for a bit then I thought about it and went "bleh."
Is it worth a read? Yeah.
Just because the ending was whack in my opinion doesn't mean much.
What do I remember?
COMEDY
Mr. Main Character dies from being overworked and reincarnates in another world. Standard isekai setup minus truck-san. Oh look, a system popped up! Time to get cheat powers an- wait what?
He must live a normal life first, then when he dies, he'll reincarnate again and get to use the system. And now it is time for the title to pop off. Of course he fails. How does he fail? COMEDY!
It's a silly work that shoves Mr. Main Character down a path that he doesn't really want nor care for -> until enough time passes and he's like "yeah uh... I guess I'll just see this through to the end" and properly decides to see this through to the end. He gets ladies and stuff I think so there's that.
Overall, I remember that I was mildly amused as I read this. Take that for what it's worth.
What do I remember?
1) LOTS OF YAPPING! At one point early on, there were three dudes showing off their skills -> and what they performed was repeated almost verbatim at least three times. Are you kidding me?
2) You know the trope of "explaining the plan -> gets cut in half -> action sequence -> flashback to explain the plan -> continuing the action sequence" etc etc? I recall not seeing this happen except maybe like... one or two times towards the end.
3) The first half is superior to the second half. Lots of yapping everywhere but the plot is a lot more straightforward in the first half than the second half. I almost lost track of everything a few times. Bah. Make up your mind: are there supernatural elements or not?
also 4) a horrible monster of a person swivels on a dime at the last possible nanosecond as the author tries to convince us "he's a great guy! no really!" Screw you author and screw this guy.
What is this anyway? Well, Mr. Main Character is the leader of a unit that gets exploded out of existence. Spoiler alert: all the big baddies are literally just this guy:
https://i.postimg.cc/DZ9x2Y54/i.webp
I'm not even trying to exaggerate.
Anyway, Mr. Main Character is actually one of the strongest martial artists to ever exist ever, no really you guys, but due to the explosions he mentally shuts himself away after being rescued and nursed back to health by random people who happened to find his half-dead body after the explosions. They call him to be, wait for it, the Escort Warrior, title drop, for the family leader's eldest daughter as another family decides "hey! we're big! you're small!" and begins terrorizing them to extinction.
And so he does NOT single-handedly pwn all the jerks like Onepunch Man vs an army and he just wins. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo! First, there's a lot of yapping, a bunch of idiots failing miserably, AND THEN he gets to pwn all the jerks like Onepunch Man vs an army.
I you're thinking "it seems like you didn't enjoy this" yeah I didn't. I figured out like 90% of the plot without trying and the 10% is the author having stupid things happen to pad out the already-too-long runtime.
Gimme a pair of scissors and I'll shorten this 255 chapter word soup into like 40 chapters. It's not garbage but I didn't enjoy it.
Lastly, while characters have hyperbolic abilities such as "can casually use a twig to nuke a mountain" -> there are actually no supernatural elements... except one dude who becomes a literal demon for one fight that lasts 10 chapters instead of 10 panels for stupid reasons... namely to allow the aforementioned "horrible monster of a person" in number 4 -> so the author can pretend "looooook! complex character writing! are you impressed!?" Still, no.

The main thing I'm seeing in the comments are:
1) updates were inconsistent (not a problem anymore as it is complete at 120 chapters)
2) the ending was rushed
and 3) it's literally just the main lore of Maplestory but shoved through a manhwa
I still read this manhwa. I will be direct for a moment: I hated this manhwa but not for the reasons you'd expect. It's actually just one major reason and it is a simple one. It goes thusly:
When Mr. Main Character is a regressor who uses his knowledge of the future to plan and fight against an enemy - an enemy soooooooooo hidden that most people, including the people "up top," aren't aware of them -> and he gathers evidence and writes up big time plans to eradicate them effectively and efficiently over not just one or two incidents that take place in like 10 to 20 chapters -> BUT OVER FIFTY CHAPTERS -> and finally, when the planets, stars and every single possible detail aligns
THERE IS A DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE BAD GUYS TO GET WRECKED
It's like dropping a glass cup in reality. What happens? It hits the floor and shatters.
But that's not what happens in this manhwa. Being an extra convoluted piece of garbage that's designed to maintain a second-job-you-pay-for alive -> the writers just automatically give the bad guys all the advantages. Imagine ambushing someone in a video game and they get to go first. Why? Literally no valid reason could be given.
In this manhwa, the glass cup stops falling, flies up to your head, smashes your skull in and then flies to the counter and just sits there, completely clean despite being the thing to make you into a bloody corpse.
Analogies aside: the bad guys are never at a disadvantageous scenario. The only reason the good guys win is purely because "they're just that good/skilled" (read: plot armor) and then, joke upon joke, the final couple of chapters feature several characters straight up dying after getting hit once. Like "You're telling me that you seriously just died when I saw you literally walk off losing half your body thrice over at once point?" Yyyyyyyyup.

And finally, draw 25.
https://i.postimg.cc/9MNcds7j/i.webp
Screw this manhwa. 0/10 from me.
Woah this one is a stinker in general. The basic premise is really poorly set up. Who in the world makes up a cultivation art and combat techniques based on the fact that the user is someone who died once? Not just that but it assumes that the user can't practice anything else because they're horribly impaired...
It's literally built for Mr. Main Character in the most sloppy way possible.
Mr. Main Character isn't interesting to see in action. In fact, "inaction" might just be the best phrase to describe him and his backstory. Also, this is arguably an isekai that occurs via reincarnation but instead of Isekai-san (the truck) doing the job -> it's an actual terminal disease doing the job instead.
Let's not beat around the bush: don't bother reading this. It was axed for the obvious reason that it's just bad.
Furthermore, the author doesn't seem to remotely comprehend how the concept of a "terminal disease" works. If I assumed maliciousness, I'd say there's an attempt to spread misinformation as to how terminal diseases occur.
Every other detail begs the question "why?" including that one and including this one: among all the details: COMEDY is used to carry the plot at several points because it's so badly written.
And yes, as a previous commenter stated: it is literally just axed mid-arc while a big battle is ongoing. Give it a pass. Hard pass.
1) Overpowered MC
2) Dungeon Hunter genre (but the details stop mattering really early on)
Also 3) COMEDY because Mr. Main Character is effectively Onepunch Man
Isekai? Nah. Listen: Mr. Main Character DID get isekai'd but that's not the point. You spend almost zero time looking at the other world where he was isekai'd. It's just part of his backstory and explains why he got so strong; literally just chapter 1.
Speaking of which, his strength came at a cost: he is just about emotionally dead by the end of his isekai journey, barely able to remember his own name. Serendipitously, his niece pops up and is desperate for a place to live and he agrees. This is the start of him rebuilding his emotions and his main focus is one thing: living a simple and peaceful life.
Listen. HEY! LISTEN! He knows. He most certainly knows. Still, he made his decision after considering everything and this is what he wants to do.
There is one thing he might not know and that's how in love a certain character is with him. Funny thing about her: a bunch of details pop up in preparation for her to go places and eventually
Overall, the romance is a wash, tbh. It kinda makes sense considering how dead Mr. Main Character's emotions are. I think the character that ends up with him literally
Anyway, there is a comedy relief character that's the butt of every joke and 90% of the manhwa can be described with this stupid thing I spent a few minutes making in paint:
https://i.postimg.cc/Hnxn9pN7/i.webp
Every time I thought "oh look, he's acting slightly differently. This stupid trend is going to end?" Nope. That panel or two of him having any resemblance of emotional maturity is a distraction.
The overarching plot is... functional.
Overall, not bad.
Edit: also the translation quality is wonky. Not the manhwa's fault but be prepared; for example a character's name is "Star" and it goes back and forth between "Star" and "Byeol." Not awful but bleh..
https://i.postimg.cc/GpLqckY5/i.webp
then you need a new virtue in life.
Not to suggest that being a virgin is bad, mind. It's the notion of "I'm a virgin, therefore I'm superior" <- that's the problem. Listen: no one cares. No wait, some people care: only creeps care. Are you a creep?
unless we were lied to.https://i.postimg.cc/fRWHPTPL/i.webp
Also, you can get near-infinite monster crystals by just farming (literally) monsters.
Then after a century or two of peace, you'd get some activists trying to push for monster rights, forgetting the fact that the monsters were gonna drive humanity extinct
