Also, importantly, Blanche's dad is this world's version of Donald Drumpf. A rich person, born rich, given everything, never lifts a finger to do any hard work, and expects everyone in the world to be happy that he exists, despite being a piece of trash on every imaginable level.
How many times have we seen him literally do the "You will sacrifice your own life for my sake!" thing? Yes, he uses the phrase "for the family" -> but he really means himself. He takes any objections with a "Oh, I knew that would make you happy" approach as if he's doing them a favor by letting him step all over them; and if you really object, he is genuinely surprised and labels you as ungrateful. He literally told his son "you should be grateful that you were born as my son." Dude, in your prime, that kid faked an illness because of the misery you inflicted upon him. He would've lived a happier life if he was born to some no-name lower-class people.
You can see this in how his kids act. Three out of the four are monsters like him -> they bullied the fourth. One of them grew up a bit and realized the error of his ways; the second was thrown away by him -> she turned around and exiled him to get him away from her. The third is desperate to get away from him but is failing to... and we all know about the fourth one.

I almost forgot about these pieces of trash. I registered them as "dead" and moved on.

Slowly but surely. 19 chapters left... I hope they don't draw this out for 19 more chapters.
I hope it's like 4 more chapters and then 15 "honey moon" chapters where it's just wholesome fanservice. 15 might be too many, but drawing this out for 9 to 15 more chapters sounds worse.
