This feels like a final fantasy boss fight with this man just posted up on an empty room with a single chair.

Now all I want is the exact same series but all of the insects are drawn photo realistically like as a spin-off or something, no changed events they're just all depicted the way bugs look instead of cutely.

But it's an ultra war like utilitarian country, where even the slightest descent from the empire is treated as treason, where even higher ranked nobles will gladly send their own children to incredibly dangerous battlefields, I don't think that level of decadence would really fly, I mean they're literally wiping out a noble family right now for even having the thought of rebellion. If this was like an ultra capitalist society like cyberpunk or something I'd get that, but in an ultra militant country outward displays of wealth like that would only send suspicion and distrust your way.

But the final people don't look human they look best case like someone in a mech suit worst case straight up like a robot, and the power source is a different matter from the brain needing blood, and I know it was still a brain that needed blood because he stabbed it and blood came out, but most importantly we've seen what fully mechanized soldiers look like in this series and they don't look like a guy wearing a thin layer of mechanical apparatus they look like f****** hulking Goliaths, that man like the rest of the rebel soldiers we've seen die appeared to have just been wearing armor comparable to the main character and his squad's own armor, and at that level of mechanization better gear means better output and performance not necessarily better survivability of damage. I'm just like to believe that the writer and the artist had a miscommunication because I've seen that happen before especially in regards to fudging details to make a scene look cooler.

You know when he sent her a letter in a fake location I assumed he'd do something smart like set up a sting have her hand over her handwritten confession and then let her get jumped by Like official people but I guess running the ones works too.
