Well he knows he can't make it work, and if he did pursue her he'd essentially be trying to chase the shadow of the woman he loved in the alternate timeline, which isn't fair to her or him.

It's like berserk except instead of the worst outcome happening every time sometimes good things happens to Guts. As a result he's entered a path Guts never could.

The fact that this man's ingenuity only activates to cheese fights or harvest food, he truly is an exemplar of humanity.

It's the law of equivalent exchange, yin and yang, there cannot be light without darkness! chaos without order! In a similar fashion anytime a Korean makes a series with a villainess as a protagonist,a Japanese makes another horny romance series that'll run about 100 chapters longer than it should.

I know they're never really the main antagonist of anything but a couple of the series where the main characters part of the heavenly demon sect usually make them antagonistic or malicious. I haven't read it in a while but I think that poison Asura series basically did that. I'll have to scroll back through my bookmarks to hit you with any specifics other than that.

I know the tang clan is always like a featured support in murim stories, Probably because even though they're a justice group they're use of poison leaves them open to slide into other alignments if need be. I'm guessing the popularity finally bubbled up enough for them to become featured protagonists, like how Mount hua went from the default choice of good guys to a common villain. Or how the demon sects went from common villains to occasional protagonist / neutral third parties. It's funny watching the trends change.

This really did feel like a d&d ass move, to put an attribute buff on a creature just so you can kill it using an attribute slaying item.

This mad Monk makes me think of Majin Buu for some reason.

He certainly won't die an horrific death, or become an antagonist! No siree, no such Fate for our friendly Luka!
