Yeah the first thing I thought when you said the whole world had the same dream was "what about time zones?" Mainly because the dream just starts when you go to sleep like if it made him go to sleep before the dream you could assume it did that to everyone at the same time but because it just starts when you sleep the only alternative I have is that maybe it keeps everyone sleep until the full tutorial is done or until everyone is sleep? Like the lobby area before a round of a shooter everyone just had to wait until everybody was queued up? so to speak.

Like three of them you can assume are related, they look similar enough, though you'd be wrong about how they're related if you had to make a guess...the fourth would be I complete surprise though.

It's that thing when a tonal shift negatively affects the actual plot, which is fine in a dedicated comedy but in something that attempts to have stakes and actual drama while being funny the jokes can't come at the expense of the other two without completely undermining them.

I knew it, hook or by crook chapter 500 (though it would be hilarious if this just kept going for no particular reason like past all the way through like everyone having kids and just kept running like dragon ball or something...Komi Can't Communicate Z...no...GT)

Maybe when aura hits aura impact transfers but not exact force? Like it doesn't cut them in half because he's still coated in aura but he spits up blood because he still get essentially hit with a giant metal slab but the effect like transfers across his whole body maybe? The honest answer is probably just didn't want that much Gore or to kill his character yet for some reason but yeah the visual of a big ass sword hitting someone and they just sort of fall over is funny.

All this makes me realize is that murim series never toss in enough random knights and armored fighters.(Also in the first panel with the monk I absolutely thought it was going to be the "let me solo her" guy from Elden ring)

I kind of wanted her to keep pulling out smaller and smaller backups like that one clip of Batman chasing the teen Titans.

It's got that relatively chill, "kind of grounded despite being a fantastical fantasy world" feeling and both the main characters are relatively mature in expressing their emotions and communicating with each other so that might be where the vibe comes across a bit.

It's like at some point they forgot that katanas were made that way because they did not have that much metal available in high quantity and quality to make stronger more durable swords, while also forgetting that most people that engaged in combat historically in Japan still used bows and Spears way more than swords. Where's my Nagitana glazing huh? Where's the love for the odachi? The appreciation for the longbow? or the scimitar? For the mighty blades of the Mongols? I mean ...uh... Yeah the sword would probably break(tho in this series defense is probably made of magic metal or some shit. the better question is why doesn't she wear any actual armor other than like basic arm and shin guards?)

It's less "human nature is war"(which to some degree it is), and more their home continent being a reflection of European feudalism where there are a great many people that wanted power -either to seize it or to hold on to it since they've already seized it, and as such there's a great many conflicts. on top of that you have basic tribalism which is absolutely in human nature in the sense that we have evidence of not just every human population above a certain size, but nearly every homo species of sufficient intellect(and also f****** chimpanzees) engaging in it. Simply put conflict is born from an urge to hold resources or fear of the unknown. in the continent they're from there's plenty of both, in the continent they're currently in fear of the unknown is subsumed by the greater unknown and there's less conflict of resources due to said greater unknown also being a means to gather resources. I will agree people don't need a villain though - they simply need a goal (like that couple decades or so where most of the western world decided that we got to get into space) but in a world of a thousand different people's thought patterns desires and methodologies the simplest goals to put people behind are the most basic ones - stop the enemy that aims to destroy you, protect your people, protect your land, protect your property.

That man is a real one bro, he's got no disillusions about what this is and what he has to do he just wishes he didn't have to do it.
