Yeah I could feel it, the chapter was very long and it both solidified a threat and set out to completely resolve said threat.

I think it really shines because even if a character doesn't get a lot of screen time they give them a specific personality that makes them memorable in some way.

Yeah but I was kind of going off of how the redhead dude reacted when he first showed up at that cabin where she was at, like it absolutely could have been one-sided but like kind of wish they would have either had it be more clear, which would have been a fun gag, or have not bothered with the thread at all.

Man the rate this is going by the end of this series everybody's going to have a love interest but Lloyd, either that or the empress will somehow trick him into a marriage or more likely he'll trick her into one.

I get that this is supposed to be hype but I am honestly just marching towards the end at this point this series sucked every ounce of hype I had for it out of me with this Arc, now I'm just kind of waiting for it to end.

I mean it's also a little bit the great ninja war and also kind of how blood lad ends but like stretched out beyond belief.

Like he doesn't act like somebody that is ridiculously strong, knows he's ridiculously strong and is dealing with people that don't know he's this strong. He acts like somebody that thinks he's better than everyone and knows he's right but also refuses to elaborate why or how yet is confused when people don't listen to or respect him. He has the mentality of a child and it's a bummer because i feel like he was less immature at the start. Honestly the only point of this fight seems to be that the author wanted to give MC that mech armor but couldn't let him steal it because then he might be in the wrong for once(Oh No), so this happens instead.

I meant weird in a writing since that they set that up and then did literally nothing with it didn't address it didn't mention a change with that in the series I don't even think they've had those two characters interact outside of fight scenes since then, if it was a character thing I'd be fine with it but for it to count as a character thing it would have to be something that's acknowledged at some point or at the very least attention is drawn to in some way. Also she only tried to kill the Mc because she thought he was after her sister and somehow found out her secret, other than that she only previously killed complete bastards and Monsters onscreen It's not really a personality thing so much as it is a "he should have a harem right" thing, it's the same reason he didn't kill the chinese chick.

The problem comes from the fact that the guy he's currently fighting didn't do anything that wrong initially, like if the main character more clearly stated his position or like ever actually asserted himself to people like this before it escalates he would avoid s*** like this ( or at the very least come off less capricious), but he basically goes with the flow until randomly he decides he doesn't want to and it leads to s*** like this happening. Like even disregarding the fact that he's this strong, he was still a regular person of this world more or less before that and should have some idea of how people might react to being entirely ignored in a conversation. I compared it to Chinese series cuz those series have this thing they do where the main character will be ridiculously strong but somehow every antagonist that encounters him doesn't know about his strength and he makes no effort to show his strength yet still expects people to both listen to and respect him like they would a strong person, as if they somehow would just know he is strong. Like he would solve this by just properly doing the rank evaluations but he basically half-assed every one and was resistant to even doing them.

Yeah Lloyd definitely has a similar energy to Oga, only Oga was dumb as a brick and somehow thought he was both smart and super kind. Same energy though.
