I've liked the progression up to this point but this chapter feels a bit rushed, like we don't even see the fight end with dabura we just skip straight to, "all right buddy we've solved all your problems, get the f*** on"
Like it felt like I missed a page or two.
Did Gege know ahead of time they're only getting a certain number of chapters and then suddenly they got that number cut by like two or three?
Or is it like gintama where sorachi Sensei thought he could do it in a certain amount of chapters and then he just absolutely couldn't so Jump had to give him more (three times I believe) except Gege said "no, I'll make it fit"?

I think the problem is that they're not drawn with any baby fat, and their proportions aren't quite right for children. So the effect is that they just look like adults in bobblehead mode.

Why is that the description? It frames it as if the emperor is the main character and not the child, hell the first chapter doesn't even mention that guy.

If I had to guess, nobody wants to do backgrounds from scratch, so they probably have a 3D asset library that a few studios use to trace for the purpose of backgrounds.

I was sharing an anecdote to explain why I sympathize with the original commenters initial thoughts regarding this series using a different series. Well also I was venting about that God damn series in general.
