I do find it funny that so many of the artists showing support agree that tang clan is best.

Correction that is the starting line for knight orders of this family, as we see later on when he goes to other countries most fighting forces are not equivalent to this family's fighting force, guns might not help much if you're fighting one of the main units from this family, but they would be tremendously useful fighting standard knight orders, bandits, thieves, pirates, barbarians, Gangsters, for hunting and hell just for sport if you're rich enough.

Like in fiction terms this family is the Jedi order, most people are clone troopers at best, maybe a boba Fett if they're really applying themselves, so while guns are nearly useless against the elite- most people aren't the elite, most people are clone troopers and even in regards to the elite if you get enough guns on them unless you're fighting like some of the strongest people in the setting they will end up exhausting so much Aura just defending that you would still be able to eventually kill them, we've seen as much with bow and arrow attacks, Group attacks, assassin attacks and ambushes, being strong in the setting does absolutely negate numbers to a certain point but numbers can still have an effect. (getting jumped with numbers over and over until he ran out of energy if I remember correctly is how this main character died in his original life)

And in regards to the black powder thing that's why the tanks bothered us so much, the tanks have projectile weaponry that's magic based and presumably you should be able to make that if not gun-sized at least one man portable which is pretty much the very next thing you do after you discover cannons, you figure out how to make them small enough for one guy to carry a Canon. And then you figure out how to make them reload or fire enough that one guy can release a large amount of bullets, then you figure out how to attach that to a mobile transport for ease of use, and then eventually you arrive at Big gun again but this time strapped to an armored transport, this series introduced tanks in a way that seem to apply they went straight from "maybe we can use magic engineering" directly to "armored transport with a big ass gun" it makes the world building seems flimsy like these things didn't exist due to a process in the universe, they just suddenly existed because it would be cool. Like for some people that's probably fine but for me and that guy up there it kind of broke suspension of disbelief a bit because there was no calculation for this fully out of place thing in a series that otherwise kept things relatively consistent.

Your response ignores the one crucial thing that both me and him have pointed out that laughs in the face of your military r&d argument, there are no guns, no military transport outside of tanks otherwise they just use carriages, no powered boats outside of these tanks it is still the age of sail. All of these things would be of tremendous military importance regardless of if magic exist or not a gun would let you kill a bunch of knights that had to train for 5 years or more after training for one month. Hell the tanks have guns strapped to them but there's no guns otherwise. We're complaining because this technology laughs in the face of everything we've seen up to now as far as things that should be possible, and while most series might explain it as an ancient technology they found or something this series... hasn't really done that. So it's just like miraculously despite the world being essentially pre steam engine suddenly a post-world war II tank regimen shows up but there's no other evidence in the world as it is structured to support that without it being really odd. Hell I will entirely give you the carriage point because without paved roads cars aren't really that good especially early cars, but a merchant would absolutely put money on better transport because that means you can get more exotic and expensive goods in the same time frames which means you can now sell way rare goods than your competitors and fully control the prices of them as well as ship things that are time sensitive farther so you can sell them at higher prices to those people. What is always driven this type of technology has been military use and trade potential, 3rd after that becomes consumer viability.

I don't know if those specific kids have met the tiger but the tiger has been introduced previously, if I remember correctly it was injured or something after a fight or something else and somi tried to help it, and it's part spiritual beast or some s*** it's been a long ass time since it showed up so I really don't remember the details.

That's from that brain rot manga though, everything that she said was terrible slang.

Now Pumpkin Night, that was some grade-A all natural terrible slang. Will one character speak like a British Street tough only to have another character respond in modern American slang? you betcha! Will the leader of the villains just very plainly be Donald Trump as a Japanese mayor for no discernible reason despite the fact that the entire story takes place in Japan? Naturally. Will the main character straight up pull a Tokyo ghoul and come back with an edge Lord aesthetic after being tortured? Why not!
Will the whole thing be a weird John Carpenter's Halloween/ Friday the 13th parody before deciding that we're doing the Harley Quinn and joker thing instead? why not!

Everything you said makes sense but why is it in Italics?

Because the industry expects it of them, on top of dedication and passion, for a lot of them if they don't work this hard the studio or publisher they work with may decide they don't need to bring back their series, The only exception is series that are truly smash Hits, like a lot of series will just drop the previous artist by the time the next season starts either because of the first one wasn't working fast enough or cheap enough.

I would love it if the script flipped and we actually got like a reasonable hero again, or maybe even one that understands what the demon king is going for but just can't abide by all the murder.
