It's so hard to guess which way it'll go, since I can see good storylines coming from all possibilities, both her failing or her overcoming can be good story. I just hope it will be an actual moment of reflection and growth because Desscaras' facial expression at the end here shows this is something that haunts her a lot so it needs to be treated with the proper weight it deserves.

Pretty good twist but it still doesn't give them justification for what they do, at the end of it they too are the same as the 'humans' and their 'wars'. It is a blow to the others morale though, that the whole war started because their rulers neglected their obligation in helping safeguard against the "evil king".

Kunlun slave seems to be, from a quick google search, to be South East Asians and sometimes African slaves in Tang dynasty China, I'm not quite sure why its Kunlun though as thats a mountain range but it seems like the word Kunlun became basically a word for people of darker skin tone than the Han chinese. Never heard about the Kunlun slaves before that I remember atleast, but I wonder does this mean other nationalities or races will make their appearance in the new world? (Since that's not something you really see in a murim story).
