only that zig is supposed to be from the normal continent, the one (largely if you don't include the witches) without magic and magic beasts. also having been raised into a continent plunged into war doesn't just make you superhuman unless zig's mercenary camp had a superhuman scientist branch added to it. anyway the point i'm trying to make isn't that everything in narnia is unrealistic, it's that the author seems to want to portray zig as handicaped in this magical continent where everyone can use magic but him, but then next chapter has him doing superhuman shit too outright overcome the odds when he's suposed to be the "weaker" one in all these encounters. i don't care about if his muscle is more tightly packed or his legs are stronger than his arms, what i care about is that they try to portay him as nerfed when he is seemingly not. good example is with the fight against the kids guild recently, this was the perfect chance to show how nerfed zig is even against a weak (compared to the lightning princess) magic user, let alone multiple at once. yet it actually turned out to be the complete opposite with zig using one as a club against the others. with two seemingly stronger girls showing up later but they also were pressed the entire fight against zig. yet the manga is insistant zig is the underdog in this fight, they have the numbers, the magic enhancements, zig doesn't have his weapons on him. in all cases he should be the underdog yet the fight is treated not as a fight for dire survival but like zig is just beating up stunt men, which given that they all look like teens by manga standards makes it look like an adult is beating the shit out of some middle schoolers. yay thats my goat everybody, like i got in here to watch a fight between a lion and a pack of hyenas but got a pack of chihuahua's instead. anyway i'm getting carried away, point is zig is outright superhuman compared to everybody else, and i'm tire dof pretending he's not.
