not to be disrespectfull myself (atleast none meant), but your the one who comes of as misinterpreting what others have said.
i think what the people who you commented on meant to say was that vlad is at this point so much stronger then your average worldless (assuming they don't have worlds which has been the case for several knights in the story so far) knight that showcasing this fight wasn't needed.
like you said vlad is not one too shy away from a fight wether your john bandit or a prodigy knight, and thus the fight with those center knights did happen. however for us the audience the author doesn't need to show us vlad fighting too believe he would win this fight. cause again assuming these are worldless knights they are facing a literal prodigy with a world and who can learn techniques like counter and deflecting blows with armour from just seeing it once, and thats just saying what vlad can do and ignoring what he has done like slay a dragon, fight against 50 men, fight another well trained prodigy in the form of gaidar's heir and so on.
in comparison though showing this fight could give us a insight into center knights strength and 50 more pages of aura farming, again it isn't unbelievable vlad would win this pretty hands down and whatever can be gained from this can always be shown later in the story.
and personally i actually think this descision to skip this fight and move on is for the better, as i'm far more interested in what comes after rather then vlad beating up 5 no named knights.
though on that note aain no disrespect, to each their own opinion.
i can see vlad showing of his current prowes by "fly swating" to be pretty entertaining aswell, so with that said i'm not gonna dislike you or whatever.

most authors make a somewhat happy ending for the protagonists or atleast plot armour them through the story, and this is why.

eh i wonder, i don't really recall much detail into the old man who gave the necklace and if he saw so much as anything in our protagonist so i'm assuming we'll discover all of that later into the story. however if it turns out the old man shared the ability of immortality till he passed the necklace that theory of yours could very well be the case, give it too birds of the same feathers to recognise eachother and all. though the thought of the grim reaper/ferryman having to deal with multiple stubborn asshats in a row refusing his mercy does put a smile on my face.
