Raphael literally awakened and took over before the mass resurrection. she even got her own ego for the sole purpose of fulfilling MC's needs and was even willing to sacrifice herself in order to do it. since then she has been a separate entinty with a will for the sole purpose of helping the MC. she is actually for more than some database, or an AI.
