why in the world would he fall for such an obvious ploy? he knows Zuo's level of scheming and intellect so no way he would even consider that zuo would be so crass. Unless this is one of those to deceive your enemy first deceive your friends sort of bit but that old idiot thinks zuo would fall for such a basic divide and conquer scheme.

too much modern scientific terms used here. i get that it would be kind of pointless to come up with new names, but it isn't really necessary to provide that kind of explanation.

a real master could have seen that as a trap. why would a dude who can kill so many so easily leave themselves open like that and not surround themselves with guards?

he kinda wants to raise his reputation. also he can't let himself be known just yet.

I have seen many characters get killed for doing stupid stuff. if this manga had been written and set up well, this scene would have had more impact. Compared to Ainz killing Clementine, this has no impact at all. She basically beheaded a chicken. We don't know who he was, his motivations other than, humans are trash and disposable sort of trope that this manga rely too heavily on. At least some good world building and character development has been seeping in (which is why I still read this) but I hope we gain some better motivations for the antagonist other than simply being trees to be cut down.

please stop this trope. Let the MC explain themselves and then let the natives take it or leave it. Don't tie MC in a knot over some contrived confusion play. Granted he is displaying skills and abilities beyond normal, so she would be more than curious.

and the crisis is over so she can afford to ask questions, but this whole, i am gonna hide my abilities to everyone including the person i just saved etc...its annoying. get it over with, and focus on the real story.
