Firstly, he doesn't know the details of her healing ability so that part is wrong. Secondly, it has been shown from the beginning he is cold and calculating and vicious, so its within his character. he is a dick, yes, but all of this was well within his character.

MC not reviving her had nothing to do with kyle's wishes but rather the gods probably felt bad for a prophecy that turned out badly so they released her from her suffering. what makes him trash tier is he doesn't see his role in all of this, (or the part of using the saint to inflict perpetual suffering, that bit was especially grotesque) but its not exactly his responsibility to take ownership of other people's actions either. To him, she was a pawn on the imperial gameboard and so is he. he simply upgraded her to a role she could fill at the moment and didn't think twice about it. while she was emotional about it and marched on this path. its tragedy all around and the gods simply put an end to it for good through the MC.
