while it comes from sanskrit, i think the reference here in this chapter might be relating to the buddhist reference of trying to attain nirvana (exit the suffering of the cycle of life and death by attaining nirvana) as according to the Shakyamuni Buddha's teaching in Tripitaka, it mentions 3 types of suffering on which one is the Pervasive suffering which links to the anadi avidya in a sense that suffering exists from beginningless (Anadi) to endless time (much like what Guts is having till now) and only by knowing about the suffering (in Buddhism case, following the teaching of Shakyamuni Buddha) can one be free from this cycle.

All in all, maybe guts is probably going to transform into something in the upcoming chapters and that might be through the knowledge that he might reflect upon himself until now which might be hinting to the another term "Avidya" which indeed means lack of knowledge. But it's hard to tell as they are indeed on the Indian subcontinent in the chapter but Japan also has Buddhist practice, so I am not sure as from which point of view they choose the title but it was surprising to see the name at a glance as it's a really complicated topic especially in Buddhist Philosophy.

Sometimes I wish Guts find some peace from all these so hoping positive changes in the coming chapters.
