that is fair. To be honest, people always cheer when the MC goes after a character designed to be hated but it almost never plays in the way people read it. The idea that you can injure your fellow student in anyway but kill them is fine, but their very lifeblood to be taken is probably much worse than simply killing them. In all the manga i have read, there is only three instances i have seen where the MC takes revenge and there is no bitter taste. First was when Ainz kills clementine. Rimuru's sacking of the army, and when hiroto unceremoniously shatters the soul of the man who killed his mother.

what this MC did was just brutality and it has too many demerits. If the author actually plays this out well, it will serve the story.
