I think since this is the first time they are doing it they are doing it this way in part to conserve mana.

the dude used deer to find a shallow path in a fast moving river. Even the MC is not that clever. That is ingenuity and adaptability that would most definitely lead to more discovery, especially tactics unknown to you being used against you.

They did this thing where they build up tension to an event you can clearly see is coming. I was like oh here we go, they are gonna get everyone in their feels by showing the kids and what they have been up to. get them into an normal routine then BAM! more tragedy. I dunno if they will get killed, but if they do, i will drop this manga here and then. It would serve absolutely no purpose to do that.

isn't it too late though? he has automatic resurrection and there is no time limit as to whom he can ressurect. The only other restriction that can be applied now is if there is no body. That is, if it is consumed after death. Any other restriction would be to go against what has been established thus far which would be a death sentence to this manga's world building.

Some people actually like tid bits here and there. You didn't have to reveal what he wrote. It seems to me you let yourself get spoiled.

As I said, to remove death as a stake means focusing it somewhere else and so far, the author has not done a really good job at this. This is also an issue with manga where the MC is extremely powerful that they are functionally unkillable. At that point you drive the story using other means. One example is That time I got reincarnated as a slime. Though technically he can be killed, it would be difficult and he hasn't even gotten to his OP level yet. however, he works to protect his very killable friends (which some have already been killed and subsequently revived.) so until the author does a more a creative way of making the story interesting, it will just regress into a boring mess.

It would kind of nerf the MC significantly to the point where they story would matter even less. The fact that there is no limitation to his rez skill means death isn't an important driver of the story. Death as a consequence is simply one aspect of storytelling. It also makes it hard to make a story compelling for readers but that is only because the permanence of death is highly undesirable as mortals.

can we just take a moment to realize just how much emotional sui has become? He's pretty much a little boy now, or girl.
