I would also point out just how gritty and grounded this manga is. They didn't show the slaying, but he certainly made the hard choice. It wasn't glamorous or gratuitous. It is harsh and realistic. This is how you deal with a situation and deal with possible consequences.

I often see people say, "why didn't MC kill x or y or z" and I am always like, the author didn't write them that way. Here they clearly demonstrate his character and the context of his actions. He didn't just go on mindless murder and his enemies were not simple creatures to be exterminated. This is a case where MC actually makes the decision and it is contextualized from his situation. It is why I like this manga.

Now if it would release more often but I don't mind the wait.
