I don't know about all that, just that it was foolish to count on such a threat you had no intent to carry through on. Either be willing to carry through on it or don't let yourself be taken to the enemy base in the first place.

It was also foolish to not just lie about being willing to be allies. Not willing to allie with the outlaws is one thing, but they don't deserve your honesty as enemies when you are surrounded by them. That's really dumb. I thought mages were suppose to be extra smart buffing their intel stat....

Lots of stuff called "NTR" in comments of these comics are not "NTR". But if I went by the vague shit definition that those who misuse the word like Mustach, then "harem" would be more NTR than most things. "Harem" is essentially "cheating". Well don't get me wrong, it was a stupid asshole thing to do. Attacking MC like that does not prove MC's character and the young master has a right to be friends or more with whoever she wishes. It just wasn't quite at the level of "evil" IMO.

If you want to protect your master, investigate their friends perhaps, but it makes no sense to attack em.

None of that matters or applies with the strength difference between them. Like instead of charging at MC's midsection charge at MC's head. Or bear hold MC and chock em to death and dig the gem from the guts. No need for anything else.

Again, major power difference between them. Remember the disarmed man? Someone much stronger than MC. You think es just let es arms be ripped off? "Cooperated" with it? And the rest aren't any stronger than MC. Also more people on MC's side doesn't put the item in more danger unless MC is expecting one of es allies to stab em in the guts.

I'm rereading this and read the novel well past this in the past. I can't remember what the deal was here, I think it was maybe a bit more than just that lead demon saying "Come here closer" so I can kill you.... Maybe?

Wow, a new chapter, well I read well beyond this in the novel. I do not like the art, don't recall if it's different than before, got to look at previous chapters.

Still, Salvos is fun to read even if the art isn't great or the story isn't as nice in the comic as the novel.

A goal and main goal and only large sized goal are all different.
