You have no idea how much shitstorm the MC has to hold in just by even be there with his past enemies. If you forgot, just reread Chapter 1.

He even outwardly said how much he held in, if they didn't listen, its completely on them. Not even the MC's fault as he clearly said it out.

Agree. I'm even thankful that he's here to rein in that sex demon Shit Dog, and shove his past enemies in their rightful place just by words (regardless if its an insult or slur) alone.

Like I said, he's born to be the FINAL BOSS. A boss doesn't exactly need to defeat their opponents with power alone. Take Lord Ainz, Albedo and Demiurge from Overlord for example. All three of them admit that Shalltear is without a doubt, the STRONGEST Guardian capable in being the guardian of three consecutive floors, yet she was not entrusted to the last two floors of the Tomb of Nazarick for easily statable reasons.

They aren't short of strong people at all. Master Gu is simply the exceptional one as he's the FATED VILLAIN - born to be the FINAL BOSS.

IIRC they have 30 ancestors (and all of them are either ascended or in seclusion - with some coming out time to time to check on the family matters), and because of that, they are the longest reigning family in the Upper Realm.

Isn't that the point of this manhwa to begin with? I mean, just read the title.

To be fair, Master Gu only used one hand as promised, even if said hand is holding a treasure. He didn't lie.

She's rather understanding of Maki's situation. This means that Maki's parents' divorce isn't because of betrayal at all, it also explains how hard of a pill it was to swallow for Maki.

Not just dedication, but also the education. We all learn a few things in uncanny ways and places.

Actually, I think its knock-off belivers making a knock-off statues of their respective gods (real gods) in a knock-off labyrinth. This explanation seems better this way. Remember that their gods only gets dispersed if there are either no more believers or statue is gone? That means that the belief of these knock-off believers are incredibly shallow, that even their god only gave them powers in equal to their shallow belief. In turn, MC fought each and every one of them at their own standard, they lost because none of them would fight one on one with him. Their belief is so shallow they rather believe in the numbers than their faith.

This reasoning explains why the gods are happy of the MC's actions, as what he did is simply mocking their belief.

She didn't become an edgelord, she simply manifested an alter ego.

Given Rick's response to that, the elixir costs way lot more than the share MC forfeited, but the money is needed to balance the income and profit of the tower (and his own manageable profit as well), so the trade is necessary to him.

He's not. He just didn't take a single cent from the profits, but he still needed money - guild funding, materials, skill catalysts, equipments, you name it.

Doesn't matter, all demons are greedy by nature on whatever they are or want, like humans. Only demons are a lot more deceptive about it.

Very true. The more so that he's in a den of countless past life enemies.
