Actually, the gods were half and half on that. They unanimously agree that Leon deserves his rest, just not by death or ascension. That's why they're trying to convince him to get mated and laid.

Because his family and best friends are all there, and the concept of hunger and thirst doesn't exist there, that's why its addictively longing for people. The only thing in there, is EVERYTHING anyone would want - TRUE ETERNAL FULFILLMENT.

Two centuries is literally 5-6 lifeline generations to humans like me and you, we can actually understand what Leon wants. The dilemma he now has is between everlasting retirement (as he can now leave this world in good hands), or those who still needed him.

I'm surprised the artist actually cared to get the Chinese wording characters in that art, caligraphy text at that.

Anyone with a brain would just tell the news as is instead of spreading slanders (leave the suspicions to the people instead of being an obvious enemy), these old fools will surely die within days with nobody to mourn their demise if they keep running their potty mouths without passing a single brain cell.

The world is too big for anyone not to not do something.

"If you know the answer, you're correct"
That's pretty much the point, no?

He's already a little on the fumes knowing its Veriel's ship he's using and taking damages during the fight.

I mean, when you have the almighty nuclear button to eradicate your enemy for good, do you even need to listen to anything they have to say?

I'm pretty sure Lucy was just fucking around with them about the jerky, but yes, not making her an enemy is the LEAST one can do towards her. Also, you remember that Lucy was supposedly the FINAL BOSS OF THE THIRD ACT, right? And even so, she was defeated in the game only after SEVERAL EXHAUSTING BATTLES (that probably took over fifteen player turns if its a turn-based game), on top of that, by using a certain skill by Taylor (the main character) AND you even have to RNG its odds of success to defeat Lucy!

I'd give you five upvotes for that line if I could.

Exactly. That is why I have yet to upvote his comment thus far, he didn't grasp well on the characters' POVs. Lucy was an apolitical character since the very beginning, so its natural for nobody to know who she really is aside from her academics in school (first year top magic faculty student). Even after what she did to the Ophilis Hall, only the entire school knows about it, but there should already be rumors flying amongst ANY attending nobles, student or teacher - All one has to do to know of Lucy's infamy, is simply ask ANYONE who have heard or been there. And that somehow, is what this king has FAILED to do, and that's why we're expecting his demise due to ignorance and stupidity.

Indeed. I don't blame him for thinking Ed being the root cause if not related, we only find him stupid for not even asking or finding out why Ed sent Lucy here instead of coming here himself.

Long ago, he made one mistake for not calculating the human ego into his plans. But that was VERY LONG AGO, and he will no longer tolerate human errs, he's now foolproof because of that. He's prepared for worse intervention from humans; But against the upper floor entities? It will take him a little more.

MC will make the fight a lot more entertaining, especially with the Eye of Gluttony giving him free skills from winning in unusual ways~

He's not Gunfather, he's Veriel.

Least we forget, Kang Jinhyuk is the SOLE WINNER of that game. Nobody can understand why he does particular choices and things, even if he told it to you blatantly of his motive. Its like asking losers how does it feel to be a winner, its nothing but salt to the wound, an insult, a sign of distrust.

The fight will definitely be worth it, I mean, even Veriel is holding tight to his popcorn bucket.

Lucy is kinda going that route. Except she has no desire for politics, much less the throne. All those golden rules and riches are nothing compared to her might.

PS: On that note, yes, Lucy was way, way nicer.
