It's less first world morality, and more so that they're all from worlds where humanity basically had to work together or die in incredibly unfair odds with actively present danger for an extended period, so most likely anyone that wasn't down with the group mentality has long since been killed, abandoned, or died. As such none of them are really prepared to deal with the reality of humans that aren't down with the cause. Especially when for so much of their life most of them have only had to deal with expressly non-human threats that would exclusively kill humans so no one would benefit from us not working together. That and the ones that are prepared to deal with that type of stuff either tried to warn them already or keep things close to the vest for their own safety.

I don't know about all that, just that it was foolish to count on such a threat you had no intent to carry through on. Either be willing to carry through on it or don't let yourself be taken to the enemy base in the first place.

It was also foolish to not just lie about being willing to be allies. Not willing to allie with the outlaws is one thing, but they don't deserve your honesty as enemies when you are surrounded by them. That's really dumb. I thought mages were suppose to be extra smart buffing their intel stat....

talking about most despicable while posting a pic of Nova... the irony kek. I gotta agree with you about the pudding part tho. I hate sweets, but I'd go instantly for Nova's pudding, it must be something else.
