On the other hand I still love this manga even though the progress is so slow.

Just ends. You know how webtoons sometimes have seasons? Felt like it should have been an end of season.

It ended but just on a mini arc. Theres no final boss thats defeated and the MC never completes his goals.

Its never explained how or why the AI choose the MC or even where the AI came from, but I choose to believe the MC's nature is why he was selected. No matter how famous he got it never made him arrogant or pretentious, and his family always remained largely his priority. Plus he never forgot the feelings of struggling in life, and used a large portion of his wealth as well as a portion of his time to try and help those who needed it.

Always will find it a little bit wrong that Dasom always stuck with Uncle and didn't end up with the MC as her adopted father.

Honestly this isn't really a story about struggling to make it big, but rather a story about human connections. Rather than a story with a plot I would almost call this slice-of-life.

Sadly they missed out greatly by not having the niece play a more centeral roll to the story. A number of people pointed out they thought this would be more about an adoption story since the art and title both feature the niece, but she actually barely features (despite being a great character.)

Those things being said it was still an enjoyable read. The first half was better I think because it focused more on his development and how it wasn't his skill, but rather his emotions that allowed him to make a lasting impression at first. (The second half at least has a romance plot but no spoilers on who he ends up with.) I give this a 6/10 overall but I encourage you to check it out yourself.

As a side note the source of the AI is never explained, but I choose to believe the MC was selected because of his nature.
