First of all, I never said I agreed with the timing, just that I hoped it gave me some information that I wanted. Second, in your own definition you contradict yourself twice. You admit that this flashback is not between arcs, and that it could have an impact on the story. Therefore it's not filler. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's filler. I also think the backstory could be timed better, if only to avoid it being a repetitive pattern every time he fights an important villain. Apparently liking context makes me a bad reader. Good thing I don't value your opinion very highly. You should know that I have a longer attention span than you considering I'm not the one complaining about being blue balled by a backstory in a story I'm reading.
