I can understand them being money oriented (however dickish it inevitably is), what REALLY irks me is that they just do it and don't say anything. No "Sorry, it's being cancelled because..." or "Thankyou for supporting us..."
So you're just sat waiting, looking at a title that still says 'ongoing', but was last updated literal years ago, hoping in vain.

Side question; did cultivator in superhero society ever finish? I know it kind of got left by the wayside when zero scans abandoned it, but can't find it anywhere.

I remember helping set up our school's LAN. Had I been a bit more in the know (and devious, obviously) I could've messed those systems up nicely. As it was, we ended up doing half days of wiring up and running installs, breaking for lunch and spending the afternoons playing a CS mod. Nothing as industrious sounding as your setup. Certainly no servers involved. At least from what I saw. Well, so long as you're set for a while and don't have to keep amending the setup... I doubt AI can do that. Yet.

Oh. Got an aunt that found high religion and keeps trying to push it. Thankfully none of the youth want to know her, so the amount of strife she can cause is minimal. Sorry you have to deal with that, brother. At least the visiting family know what the truth of the matter is. I'd say don't let it get to you, but I know it's still a kick in the nuts on some level.

Yeah, aside from the almost blindness and family fallout, it's been good. Drank FAR too much over New Year and decided i'm on the wagon for life (apparently hangovers scale with you as you age... shouldn't need a damn week to recover after one night lol)

Meh, same old same old. Afew health issues going around, so i'm looking after the invalids as they recuperate. Youngest brother (30+, so not young, but still the youngest, y'know?) burned his bridges with the family in a big way, so dealing with THAT fallout...
And the eye managed a recovery after... I wanna say three months? Yeah, that sounds about right. Infection took a long while to clear out, but it still took about a month or so for it to come back to usable levels.
And because of that, i've discovered RoyalRoad and audiobooks and that i'm into LitRPG, so i've been slacking on my mangos and the like. The backlog has grown a lot lol.
So did you and the family have a good Christmas / New Year? I don't think I asked last time since I was doped up and half blind and forgot. So apologies if I missed that.
