There are reusable contact lenses in the market that are made of glass but even those have a six month lifespan. And you absolutely would not boil your eyes prosthetic under any circumstance!

Think about how dangerously close an eye prosthetic is to the brain. Putting a foreign object next to it could mean you are introducing a source of infection. Now remember the gunk that develops? That gunk can start to embed in small scratches which could be the source of a new infection. This is why there are no permanent eye contacts as well my dude.

Think about why you have to change contact lenses so often, it's the same principle in essence. You are literally putting something into your head and it needs to be washed and cleaned often as gunk does build up around it.

Growing up there was a kid who was just a little on the spectrum and he would do the most aggravating shit to everyone to the point where everyone would hate on him.
