Neko Majin CHe is asking her why she is acting this way, but she refuses to give an answer that is not a joke or a misdirection. You cannot fault him for being dense if she will not admit to anything.
I smell chlorine gas..... Have you kept tabs on his stance on things and how this flows? This reads like you haven't. Like, for example, OL MC here is under the incorrect belief that his now wife was unwilling due to his first few impressions of her being an untameable force. He is under the belief that he has ensnared this difficult one into marriage against her will and has now caged her. For her, though, it was a defense mechanism to keep others away from her; the MC has melted that wall and stolen her heart unknowingly.
To an outsider's perspective, the only odd thing he has is an evil smile and horrific personal battle ability along with zero tolerance for corruption. To his assistant android, he is impulsive and decisive as well. The MC's greed knows no bounds, and greed is good; therefore, the MC's good knows no bounds.
Also note that he is not a sexist asshole. He could abuse his power and force himself on others, but he doesn't; he left that behind. All he took with him to this new world was a toned-down and silent sadism.
