I mean while I see what you're saying the core basis of necromancy in this uses corpses at some capacity. It less that she's using necromancy more that it didnt make sense for her to use. She kept somewhat up with bichir as a magician but is using fodder necromancy skills now to accomplish her goal? I can give you a pass on 1 and 2 and 4 still needs context, but 3 and 5 are definitely fair. Summoning undead around civilians was dumb and we've seen that she uses real corpses as she raised a child's corpse. A demonic contract with a semi sentient weapon, is not the same as soul release contract with a upper level demon. One is more like an ingredient that obeys you while the other is more like a conspirator that can stab you at any time. I would say their similar but have too many differences.

Nah seriously facts. At first I was worried for the Aiyen ship not happening but now it just narratively makes the most sense. Bro saved her as a slave and become a temporary slave himself. Ended up saving those people and they rewarded that loyalty. Got Hugo to stop hating on good barbarians and it's still using a bow as his main night hound weapon. Even the collar shows how much she really thinks about BICHIR HIMSELF and the worries he carries. Honestly this is really surprising. I actually really like when a series will take the time to allow a character to both process and recollect themselves. Sometimes it doesn't make sense when it's just power climb after a power climb. Arthur has clearly realized after two battles that he is not prepared to continue forward. It's honestly a completely reasonable request for him to take some time off because he is low-key and carrying this war so far, whether by his own doing or formed connections. Can't wait to see him come back better and stronger than ever to deal with the threat at hand. And it helps that he fought for a bit because now he has both real world fighting experience, life and death tribulations, and knowledge of the relative strength of scythes. Can't wait to continue this series further with you all. 😼🙏🏿
