Plus if his goal is getting stronger killing a lower floor player and absorbing their soul works just as well as going to that floor, and either way he’ll make his way to that floor eventually. And yea he’d get ambushed but it’s not like they know where he is at all times, they would need guards or spies which he’d more than likely spot and be on alert.

Also they mentioned that they have other keys they’re just reluctant to use them. So, piss them off enough he’s teleporting back to floor 30.

Heya. I think the manga was trying to get across that the main reason he chose warrior was his father's influence. It was more of an abusive household afaik, I believe he was worried about his father kicking the shit out of him and disowning him more than anything. I don't know if it's super clear though tbh. I think it's sort of described in a vague way to hint at it without saying it.
