So my theory is that this wasnt her first life, but actually her second life. The reason she was so frightened was because she knew the strength of the apostle. Maybe thats why she gave Taesan the stone, she thought even with regression she missed too much, but because of the changes in her second life she noticed that Taesan had far surpassed the limits of easy mode and fully exploited the maze to its fullest beyond her wildest wishes.
