A simple fix for this issue on a desktop/laptop, is to use an image capturing software, windows has one by default called “Snipping Tool” it lets you just take a screen shot of something on your screen. No need to directly save from the browser.

It could also just be a shorter Manga. Not every manga needs to go for 100+ chapters, sometimes it just makes sense for the story to end. Manga like Leviathan for example, are great stories contained in small volumes.

I 100% get it, and I do agree they’re being generous calling it love. But because they know her and know where she’s coming from they’re extending her more grace than anyone on the outside would give.

It does genuinely come from a place of love, as she’s shown, but it is genuinely crazy. And they’re trying to show her that.

That’s the point of this arc, they’re telling her exactly that, it’s not okay to express your love that way.

Something COULD have been wrong prior to the heart being pierced. But aside from the red mist, it was never established that anything WAS wrong. Even then, it wasn't him being disconnected from the gods, because there's a clear connection prior to the heart being pierced.

I also don't think that we can just assume he was weakened, and that's why the attack pierced. There's also a decent chance the demon is just strong enough to pierce his defences. Especially given the fact that it's admitted to using the powers of several other strong-ass demons.

I get what you're saying, but I don't think there's evidence to support the idea that the connection was broken or interfered with, and that's why the attack landed. If anything, there's more evidence pointing to this demon just being that guy, strong enough to go blow-for-blow with the MC. Basically, we've been set up for a sick-ass fight that might actually have some stakes.

If their protection isn’t working the connection with them should be broken and he shouldn’t be able to hear them. That’s not what’s going on.

The demon even mentioned it’s using the combined powers of a bunch of great demons, its power is just strong enough to break through the barrier. The gods could feel the power surge and tried to warn him, but were too late. The demon knew to target the heart, so it did.

That’s why the manga shows us the wound so clearly where his heart is. Because we’ve been lead to believe that’s where the gods are stored.

The demon even mentions “If you die now you won’t get to your everlasting peace” (something close to that) after the heart was pierced. Because the connection with them had been severed AT THAT POINT. The demon would’ve mentioned that prior to the stabbing if that was the case, because the demon genuinely was trying to talk MC into quitting. And that’s a good reason to quit.

Nope, the gods protection didn't drop until this chapter, AFTER his heart was pierced. The demon shot THROUGH his shield, you can even see he’s still connected up until it hits, as his god tells him to dodge instead of blocking.

Having just gone back to check, it doesn’t mention anywhere the gods protection was blocked until this chapter.

The LionHEART has the gods specifically in his heart. It seems to me like the shot pierced his heart and destroyed it, cutting him off from the gods. The question then is how is he still alive?

It’s likely when his heart grows back the gods will be back too.
