Throwing a conjured wheel magic is just so goofy

Oh or maybe he thinks the officer is taking advantage of the mage, that's why his expression darken when he heard those two names are traveling together, and he rushes to take his partner back because it was all a façade and he actually cares about him. But no, he wants to kill his partner cause his partner found out he was spending all the money, and he's been holding on to this killing need for years and on top of that, as a human, not connected to the mage hunters at all, some how got his hands on a pretty strong magic tool by himself? Just there could be better routes to take for this kind of story beat

The good guys are such good guys in every way, cant there be some nuance, some ambiguity. I like stories about mages and different magic, but all the mages are just so good that it feels bland, would be cool if him and that other guy was just bandits and him losing his memory and being so vulnerable was what made the officer see if he could groom him to being a good mage or something else. Also the magic so far is just one type for everyone, magic system is lacking so far

I wonder if the group they are looking for is fake and used as a boogey man to keep people hating mages and to get mages to come out of hiding in hopes of finding the resistance. Came to me since mage hunters can be in plain clothes, whats stopping them from using magic items and pretending to be mages so that they can get mages to out themselves

Why do guns suck in this universe, the mom got shot point blank with like at least 5 rifles and she lived, but the three people in the beginning got shot in the head and all died instantly, so you must really need to put the gun an inch away of what you want to hit, a glorified knife essentially

Very convenient, I still would rather they used magic or smarts to get passed things, like whats stopping them from going through a forest or going over seas, I dont know the map of the world, but surely they cant have a giant wall stretching across the world and surely there's not enough guards to watch every inch of said world wall

It would make more sense for the lock to only attack the person that breaks it, doesnt make sense for them to use it if it will kill them as well, but since it is the doesnt make sense kind that attacks everyone, I would grab all of them and get ready to break them in the middle of these mage prisons so it takes out all the guards

Because its a shonen, they'll probably use the key to unlock her but what I was thinking is she would get a job, they'll both cut their foot off in the forest and she'd sew em back on but I'm pretty sure its not going that route, even tho it would be cool

This is olden times so lets assume that a spare set of glasses is too much of a financial burden. I would say that one magic is looked at as bad because it is convenient and cost nothing which takes away jobs from laborers, two it could have military might so the government wants it without having to take the mage's opinion nor worry about consent. I think this is realistic so far so I'm for it, I hope there are more different kinds of magic since the mom could use her comb and fly a broom

These names are kind of too on the nose, mc is 2 letters off for netorare or netorase and the girl that is into yuri is named yuri.....
Also based on netorase is when the person enjoys getting cucked, so might be the mc doesnt get the ending he wants and the cuck will like being cucked
