would be an interesting twist that the being the doctor serves is trying to shut down the system and both know the MC has the potential to rip it down but since they cant directly tell or help MC, they are doing it under the veil of being evil and have the view of 'a few sacrifices is necessary to stop the system'

Hasn't been explained who dad was originally but after mom died he couldnt be bothered to handle the paper work and the step-mom and step-sister didnt know how so they left it all to the servants, and the servants all left it to Lunaria because they wanted to slack off instead of work

That backfired on them though because Lunaria filed the right paper work so that step-mom and step-sis were never technically on the family registry in any capacity and had no rights to any of the family wealth and dad was filed as a 'temporary head' because he married into the family and wasn't born into it like mom

Original Lunaria didnt use those advantages though because she thought things could go back to how they were before mom died but she decided to take her life instead of blow up a part of the main building so new Lunaria realized that there was no saving the family and is moving to remove them all and act on the advantages that were never used

My bet on the 'original' plot is that the hero faction leaders are power hungry but needed something in order to resurrect the demon king, that something being the crystal in Lycia so they killed her to get it and put the blame on Len or maybe kidnapped his mother and forced him to take the blame or they would kill her and the marquis from the royal faction cought on and was trying to stop them so he was the final boss of the 2nd game, and the 3rd would have been against the resurrected demon king and the rest of the royal and neutral factions getting killed off 'by the demons' until it was just the hero faction and the ones willing to kneel

50/50 on if the hero character is actually also involved or just denser than a black hole
