nah. he was so far beyond everyone that it would have likely taken like 4 or 5 acts before there were people that could take him down if they ganged up, 6 or 7 for individuals to match him

more likely this was done to create some new antagonists since he had pretty much removed them all

i feel like the delay with chapters taking months to come out is more a result of authors/arists having to have multiple projects at once instead of what webcomic authors or korean/chinese authors do where they focus on one story and can get out a chapter a week even if the chapters are a bit smaller in content than some manga since there can be some high quality manhwa that get weekly releases but the group is only doing that one story until they switch to another for part of the year

sadly wont matter since sales in japan are what dictates what gets priority and harem trash with dumb blank face MC is what sells because the japs who buy them self insert while something like this is rarely bought because you dont wanna self insert as this MC

idk if it was stated but MCs mindset seems to be he wants to save humanity but knows he cant just kill the people he knows are corrupt and has to wait for them to act first so he isnt outcasted completely even if it does cost a few people to suffer or die

i really hope he dies quickly and it doesnt get dragged out

but this could have been MCs plan to show how much of a corrupt PoS he is so he can be executed instantly without anyone getting mad at him thinking he killed someone innocent

ah ok, wasnt 100% since its been a while since ive read the beginning of this one and a fair number of isekai's the MC replaces who the person was originally

i imagine its more of a time skip to generate new enemies/antagonists because if things happened as they were it seemed like the only enemies left were the things that could influence the system and maybe the system itself
since things like the WAA and his sorta-illuminati group with him as a constant 'stay in line or else' threat would solve the problems of his first life, but if he was away for long enough for his constant threat to no longer be seen as viable, new antagonists can be made with them seeing MC as 'not real' or an opening to try and get at him

i wonder if ren would even still be under the effects of the slave contract since she technically died back at the beginning of the story and is now someone else, i mean still not worth the gamble to be open about it since if it is still viable then everything she built can be stolen in an instant

but i can still see the king or a high ranking noble looking into ren, finding out about the contract, then either using it to try and take advantage of her (then it failing since different soul) or they give it to her as a sign of trust to entice her to owe them

ive read a few like that but they are rare

first that comes to mind is 'max level hidden boss' where the MC reincarnated as a hidden optional boss but was open like "hi kingdom, i am max level and will help but i am 100% not the demon king or on his side"
there was also a novel i read a while back where the MC reincarnated as the villaness but she didnt care about the original plot and abandoned it asap because of other issues that were bigger in the epilogue and she wanted to stop those issues while making bank on the side like making TVs and magic airships for noble tours

hopefully and it might even be related to why asura is dropping it

FYI for those reading, on asura scans website this chapter has "- dropped" on it and no other chapter has had a title so it is likely they dropped it and if no one else is translating and it wasnt a chapter title then this is it

from what is said, i wonder if this world didnt originally exist but the goddess, for one reason or another, took a large chunk of the magic aura ect from earth and moved it to the copy and so little was left on earth that it couldnt replenish and died out but now something is going wrong because of that

yup. if it was a 1 use item i could see it being a checkovs gun situation where its "forgotten" until way later in the story but since it doesnt seem to have any limits besides the object being intact no way it isnt going to be used a few times in the near future

if the diamond doesnt scale with quantity, like if you had 40 tons it would still only protect you for 3 seconds, it sounds like the gem could be used as a threat like a "i am/if im going to kill you i want you to know its coming and it to not be instant"

I bet he is going to be sealed for a while, but not permanently and get out either right before the tutorial ends or right after and with him being missing people seeking to take over will infiltrate his group and get close to his level of power and manage to kill him but the immortality will kick in showing that he cant be killed, and then he will remove them

just my assumption though

MC died on earth and was given a task by god where he was sent to different worlds and had to join the hero's party of each world, work with them for about a year, then be kicked out and for each one he would gain a new skill that was random
And as a reward after the 100 worlds he could go back home, but he decided to visit his first world he was in before he went to earth but in it the hero failed and both he and the big muscle dude died and the elf girl was crippled and MC was there with her as she confessed she loved him and died in his arms
After this MC instead used his return to earth ticket to essentially NG+ and restart with all his skills so he could save them, and he did by setting it up where the hero had the actual hero's sword to use his full power instead of a cheap copy
While the hero was fighting the demon king MC was essentially kicked out of the party and his last remaining minutes in that world ran out and he was kicked out of the world
Elf girl still fell in love with him in the reset timeline and chased after him but couldnt find him so elf girl revolutionized teleportation magic to create a spell that would teleport someone to someone or something without knowing where they are and it succeeded and teleported her out of the world to chase after MC
Current chapters is this world after MC left but before elf girl teleported to MC

i wonder if the spiritual influence that rimuru cleared and this plot was made by that one chick who was reincarnated and has that mind control power, i mean it could be and i just forgot lol

i think there is 9 forms with the 9th basically being god

would be kinda funny if MC managed to broker world peace by just becoming friends with the most important people in each country and kept on friendly terms with the decedents
