That's the thing, most people will say Yami is bad- but we literally only saw
-Her slap and kiss Yuu (Tbf im not really down with the random slap, maybe he said smth that was slappable....we never got there + the kiss isn't bad because that's her ex and FMC literally never dated the dude. They've just been chilling, no romance- he had feelings but those were overwritten by yami)
-Her breakup with Yuu (She could've communicated better but it makes sense to end a relationship because your life is getting difficult especially in highschool....)

I think Yuu is fine, if he's written like an average dude...he's alright. Things happen, hearts get broken, i don't think he'd say he regrets being with yami instead of hikari (but we'll see when it's his turn)

If im told right, the story is told in three sections- Hikari's POV, Yami's POV, and then Yuu's POV

I don't know why you don't like Yuu, for one- we only see things through Hikari's flowery vision (and then I guess Yami's jaded one). Yuu just seems like a normal, pretty chill guy. Dense as all get out, but that kinda comes with the territory.

People like Yami because she's interesting, definitely cliche, but the drama was very interesting.

I won't deny that it's "convenient" they liked the same guy- i still have no clue how good friends they all are, it's a group of friends....i really think a chapter or two past the kisslap would help right about now- if this guy planned to do this from the start...yami should've been introduced a lot earlier.

I've read a lot of romcoms that i wish would have the guts to do something like this lol, there's some really nice reads

but for real, what specifically did yami do that makes you mad? The Kisslap? Not realizing they like the same dude?

Alright I guess i'm wrong about the different names, i saw in the comments of mangadex that the novel has it so she doesn't know who the crush is....either way why does she gotta tell hikari about her past history? (also people can have the same first name)

It sounds like you're disappointed about the development, and that's fair- hikari was presented as the FMC (im wondering if she is or was that just a ploy even now) but we're just seeing the pieces of what happened all fall into place- not the worst romcom i've read yet

Nothing in this manga would be avoided- this was a flashback that happened long before + she called him by a different name than hikari

she was venting her problems in a group chat...not even one with separate channels- who many people read every single message?

This ending was kinda ass...i would've REALLY rathered a dark ending if that was what the author is known for- never cook this recipe again
