I mean, i agree this is a dumb way to end the story- but that and the fact I highly doubted it'd even happen in the first place can both be true. I did kind of expect Aqua to die tragically, or have something happen to someone else (Akane) but a lot of the story seemed to miss a lot of that looming dread/danger for a while?

It's only been 20-ish chapters and it releases SUPER slow, i'd recommend a reread as this is a good story- you also might notice some things about how the story started and how it is right now

To be fair.......evil organizations are literally filled with a rogue's gallery with some "shady pasts" and motives and all that- his ability to see "character traits" already established she was gonna be annoying for no reason. If they're only accepting the strongest of the strongest in the first place- are we going to jump every new member who has the potential to be an elite?

Tho next chapter we find she has an instakill move (so i guess she doesn't need to assassinate him)... and she's a wild card even her own leader wants to kill??? though i think it's like the scene in batman where joker hires the thugs and tells each one that their mission is to kill the one before them and so everyone is watching everyone to kill them if they step out of line

When has he impeded katsuya? Also I said Akira's one advantage is something katsuya gets + katsuya is backed by an army + they both get locations but it's basically Akira solo with something this dude Now Also Has.
