I absolutely loved the lore! it explains so much while still teasing everything that’s still to come like... helping Veor, the reconciliation between East and West, and of course the romance, which feels so much more mature than in other stories. Oh, and it also explains why Veor speaks that way, which makes so much more sense since he’s only 18 after all.

Making the mother almost kill her own child right after losing her husband is f*cked up. I know they’re just puppets, basically illusions, but god damn… I honestly don’t know how she could keep living after losing her whole family.
