The whole point of blue lock is to create people exactly like Rin. He's the apex of Ego's ideal. Yes he did steal the ball and fumbled but that's what blue lock is built on. That's tye core philosophy of their team. If that is what lost them the game, the issue isn't Rin but blue lock as a whole. He is a douche, though.

Considering current events, that's a crazy thing to say.

Ok, I'll admit I was a bit dubious about some recent developments but I'm all the way back in. The story and art is strong enough to overlook a blemish or two.

Thanks but I think rather than not knowing how to portray that, they took liberties, which imo is for the better. A lot of the changes have made the story a bit more streamlined imo.
