the problem with luck, it's the fact it does not really exist, neither the binary system of choosing, the universe it's made of actions and consequences, but humans always fail to understand it because their egocentrism, that maked them believe only their actions have influence, but in reality, every action have influence, there are millions of bacteria crawling on every human skin, each one of their actions affect the universe behavior, same as the action of every one of the billions of living things on planet earth, same with the eons of living creatures accross the universe, actions overlap, modify, reject and create paradoxes every nano second, that creates universe behavior, and the fun part, no matter how random it's has patterns that can be understand, and no matter how well one can understand it, it's always random, luck doesnt exist, much like almost every human knowledge, it's the best puny human brains can do to explain something they can't even begin to comprehend.
one will believe that someone so old as the main villian, have at least a basic understanding of this, but i guess, it has way too much ego.
