I don't mean to downplay anyone who's actually going through similar things IRL, hell I'm going through the same thing but at least 1000 times more things. But I still know it's dumb because I'm literally the only person who even cares about it. So I can relate to her, but I can still say it's dumb because I know from experience. Besides, Gojo barely interacted with her and she ended up as just another bully, not a friend, even despite their reading time. But I'm sure Gojo knows at this point that she's not the same person nor did she mean that as a kid, I'm pretty sure he says something along those lines a while back. But even still, he doesn't care what people think anymore. But then again, I might be confusing stories. I barely remember a thing about this manga. But I still stand by the fact that kids rarely understand the bigger picture and just throw temper tantrums when things don't go their way, as we see in this chapter, she did feel betrayed, but she didn't even ask why, instead she just focused on her own feelings and lashed out. She caused this, and If she didn't put the time to make up even after all these damn years, and STILL makes it her singular personality trait, I think that just means the drama is forced. Idk, I respect people's opinions too so if you have any counter points please go ahead because I'm a little tired and barely remember this manga's story and characters so a more retrospective perspective would help. But It's still obvious that her character is the way it is simply because of that one incident, that's what the manga is trying to say. It's her flashback, not his. Which means it was her POV, and that was after her glum appearance/persona, leading me to believe that the incident is what caused her change. But that's just my perspective.
Dynamic angle, rule of thirds, engaging story moment with stakes, interesting background, great art, double page, emotional, built up to appropriately:https://i.postimg.cc/CKWxY6n5/i.png
Flat composition, boring, no build-up, comes out of nowhere, meh art, un-engaging story moment with 0 stakes, asinine speed lines background, not even a full page, not emotional at all, no rule of thirds:https://i.postimg.cc/44pm4Z5g/i.jpg
Before anyone complains about "cherrypicking", this is the "best panel" comparison of the first time they each go "feral" with the 9 Tails power. See how much more effort Naruto's manga put into it? See how boring and flat Boruto is? This isn't even counting how stupid this is from a story standpoint, and basically gives himawari no room to grow herself. Especially since it wasn't even hinted at.
Seriously, what can you tell me has happened since the beginning? Nothing has happened. They've cosplayed, made clothes, and met a dozen people and both confirmed their feelings for each other, but for a manga that had over 100 chapters in a near monthly release, that is barely anything. The closest we've had to any sort of interesting moment is the Hotel bed scene.
Speaking about the manga now, I really wish this manga had any sort of actual vision. It's just a hodgepodge of unrelated sequences with pointless drama haphazardly thrown in. There's a reason I gave this a low 6/10 on my MAL reviews. This could've been such a great casual manga about two joyful people having fun cosplaying and making clothes while gradually getting feelings for each other. Now you just give cosplay such a bitter smell by associating it with pain and suffering.

Now I DON'T care if the author drags this out!!!
(Also, RIP Mike...)
The original was used in Chapter 202 actually:

Chapter 202 (original) came out around February 23rd 2024 (as shown by the saved image date)!
Do you think the next chapter will keep the same title "Partner"?
I love how One Punch Man uses such high-concept attacks and it just.... works. Even though Dragon Ball has a much higher power ceiling, they don't utilise such attacks. Probably because they are so powerful that they transcend time and space, as explained by the gods of their universe canon. So it wouldn't make sense if such abilities could work on them, since they can simply ignore time and space at a whim anyway.
I really wanna know how the Heroes of this manga get their abilities. Was that ever explained? I have a bad memory. I know some had them from birth, but what's the cosmic mechanism that enables them?
I think I prefer Blast's appearance in the original:

Perhaps the most over-rated manga ever.
It may be Gigguk's favourite manga, but this manga is extremely over-rated. Despite having good characters that are properly characterised and play off each other well, the manga fails to support the plot with a paper-thin mystery that should have only lasted 100 chapters. It's a hodgepodge of many ideas that don't support each other and the resolutions of plot points are really boring. Which, is exactly what this manga is, boring. The art is decent and certain scenes look great, the actual story is so random and bad that I really cannot recommend this manga to anyone. It's a shame this manga is heralded as a "rite of passage" to be a "proper manga fan", because this is such elementary writing. And the entirety of the mystery plots are a joke. It's like, 10 different genres stuffed into a single story and it just doesn't work. Period.
I'd say 3-4 out of 10, but the admittedly novel, albeit failed, approach and some scenes jump it to a 5/10.
This will probably end this year too. Hopefully too, it seems to have run its course.
