No problem, reading this got me addicted to the game 'Yu-Gi-Oh!! Duel links' for a while, and got this manga into my top 5 favourites.

There's a tiny 2 chapter prequel manga to DSOD movie, but it's pretty bad. There's also another Yu-Gi-Oh movie in the "Yugi" era of Yu-Gi-Oh!!, called "Pyramid of light" which is just decent (but Dark side of Dimensions (DSOD) is one of my favourite anime movies). There's an ENGLISH DUB ONLY 12 episode anime original side story. It's a separate series from the main anime. The main anime has a lot of original filler, but makes many kid friendly changes to the point where it just becomes Yu-Gi-Oh!! but for toddlers. The YGO stories after this one (after Yugi's story which is from this to Millenium world, then a special comeback Yugi story in DSOD) are almost completely disconnected from Yugi's story, with only a few cameos here and there. SO you don't need to read and watch thousands of episodes of YGO content to finish this. The anime is quite hard to follow compared to the manga (due to the nature of card battles, you can easily scroll up and reread something if you miss it), so I'd recommend the manga anyway (which, you're gonna read anyway!), although unfortunately most of the anime series after Yugi's story are anime only. A lot of it is really "kidified" so even though I'm a YGO fan, I stopped after Yugi's entire story, of which is all in that little reference guide above, besides GX and 5d's. I may watch an YGO anime once every few years if I get a craving for YGO and I don't want to waste my time on Duel Link's horrible high level player experience (Low level players have an amazing time though!).

I recommend downloading and playing Duel links once you are finished, I never played YGO before, and that was so much fun, until I played it enough to get into the high ranks and hated how everyone was abusing the same meta decks and strategies over and over and I just got sick of it. But up until that point, it was brilliant. I'd recommend watching the "Duel Logs" channel on YouTube if you do, as they explain almost every deck and strategies and the like. if you don't, I'd recommend at least listening to the soundtrack! Absolutely one of the best in gaming history!!

Anyway, I hope all these extra points help. Even though you didn't ask lol. I really hope you enjoy this stellar, but flawed, piece of manga history.

Brother, I made FANFICTION of this fucking series back in the day. And I still don't remember jack shit.

It just don't enjoy it anymore, so I've mostly forgotten it. It happens.

If it was actually good, I'd remember. Even in the context of a major fan, they still have trouble remembering all the sheer amount of characters.

I'm just finishing what I started, I'm free to complain. Just look at my hundreds of comments and my review on it, I am absolutely thorough in my criticism. People who just hate to hate are fucking stupid assholes. I hate the product based on it's quality, and it's quality is garbage, as you could see in my many criticism comments and my MAL review.

In your notifications, there's a box you can tick to be notified when someone dislikes your comments.

This absolute waste of air downvoted about 40 of mine in a row, so my notifications were all just his downvotes at one point. I turned that option off though because I don't need that kind of negativity, and also it prevents trolls from getting what they want. It's just so weird that they spend their time downvoting a random person who did nothing wrong on the internet rather than doing something actually productive, like learning how to tie a noose.

I just block them and walk away. I've got better things to do, I was just wondering if I actually did something to warrant those hate downvotes.

I miss Disqus so damn much.

(Oh and by the way, hundreds of manga have that same character trait where the character feels guilty for childhood acts, like an actually good manga: "Kimi To Tsuzuru Utakata". Just because a culture is one way doesn't mean everyone follows it, that's impossible and not an understanding of the human psyche, particularly a child's.)

Sure I remember them, It's just that their characters haven't been implanted in my mind enough to give a shit.
I've been with this franchise for almost a decade, I don't obsess over this series like others do, so forgive me if I forget people in this extremely bloated cast of a manga I think is mostly crap.

Which, haha, funnily enough, goes for almost all of this manga's entire fucking cast.

I just wish people had important roles or even, like at all, contributed to the story.
One Piece has thousands of characters, but I can still remember what each of them did for the story. Hell, I still remember that guy who's body is stuck inside that chest, on a tiny island, from a basically filler chapter extremely early in that manga. And guess what, I've only known One Piece for a year and half, I've been with MHA for almost a DECADE!!!
